Likely one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Excellent gluten free options, quick turnarounds, and a fantastic selection. Unexpectedly, some of the best fried chicken I have ever had too.

Everytime I come home to the city I order from Pica Pica! Their gluten free selections are unrivaled and they even have options for someone who is also dairy free. Delicious and filling!

Brought my wife here as we explored all the Gluten Free options we have in the city since my wife’s celiac diagnosis. The first led down was the music was so loud one can barely hear the questions asked by the cashier. The Cashier her self was not warm and inviting especially after I told her it was our first time there, she was not friendly at all . The food was very good but the Arepas couldn’t hold the amount out juice and come apart no bueno. My wife was very disappointed and said we’re not coming back… I might alone but it doesn’t hurt to smile

Food is good and gluten free which is a plus. Agree with other reviewers that service could improve. We were kicked out promptly at 8 pm 😂

Great food, especially for gluten free people. I cannot speak to authenticity, but the yellow sweet corn arepas tasted amazing. The black beans were also VERY good. We had the Tres Empanadas and Yuca fries appetizers (loosely using that term here, the food comes out when it comes). Empanadas were greasy but I especially liked the beef one. Husband liked the cheese one! Yuca fries were not salty enough for me. The grilled chicken in the arepa was a little dry, but the thing as a whole was good. The beef arepa was perfect - plantains a perfect complement to the yellow corn arepa, and the beef was shredded and delicious. Should have ordered 2-3! They have some sauces on the table, the spicy one is quite good. Service was totally lacking, but we did not mind. It’s counter order with table delivery.

This place is gluten free and delicious! I got takeout here with a friend while visiting the city. Staff were friendly, and the food we got was super good! I had a white corn arepa with the beef filling, and it was so good. I felt like the portion for the price I paid was generous, too. Also, I'd recommend trying the sauces that come with it, they're great. I'll be back the next time I'm in SF.

Been hearing about this place and was intrigued because I want less gluten in my life. Came here with friends on a Sunday night and it wasn't too busy. I ordered the trio with beef, veggie, and vegan arepas and man were they amazing. Fresh ingredients and great flavors and textures, especially with the Beef Pabellón. Can't wait to come back!

Loved it! Food was out of this world delicious! Everything on the whole menu is celiac safe. (Bottles beer is not gf and the only alcohol they serve) will def go back and highly recommend.

This place is delicious! Gluten-free everything!!! Of course I had to try a little bit of everything. Came for an early dinner around 5:30pm Friday and it wasn’t packed. The metered parking in the area is free after 6pm and all day Sunday. The corn crepe with beef was amazing it had heaps of flavor also the beef is similar to Barbacoa in its soft texture. I also tried the shrimp Arepa which was fantastic the huge shrimp were properly deveined. The garlic fries were great too the wife said the garlic amount was just perfect and not overwhelming they tasted awesome in the green salsa for that hot crispy-cold dip sensation that resonates so well with my taste buds. They also serve Gluten-free beer from Oregon.

The food is delicious! The only reason Pica Pica doesn’t get five stars is because it isn’t 100% vegan / plant-based. If it was, it would get five stars, for sure! Pica Pica is a great neighborhood find with home-style arepas, cooked to perfection. The vegan / plant-based options are delicious and rival many 5 star restaurants offering the same. The best items on the menu are the: — Yuca Fries — Vegan Arepa (contains avocados and plantains grilled to perfection) — Shuli Arepa The yellow corn option is sweeter than the white. The menu caters well to those wanting gluten free food.

Great food! A wonderful find off the beaten path. Everything was gluten free and full of flavor. Highly recommend the spicy chicken, the pica pics nachos and the fries.

Really great flavors and 100% gluten free with super friendly service. The platanos maduros (fried sweet plantains) were great but I was very surprised to see there were only 5 making them ~ 1$/piece. My favorite part of the meal were the 4 sauces on the table which I used without hesitation on the arepa sampler platter. The shrimp ceviche was a great light meal with large whole shrimp... I ended up drinking the remaining sauce it was so yummy. 😋

UH THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! Delicious! and very kind staff. Gluten free Venezuela food. this is a must for every San Francisco visit from now on. Also vegan options!!
