This was my daughter's first time eating Japanese food, and it couldn't have gone better. She's allergic to gluten and eggs, and finding a place where I can sit peacefully knowing she can try new things without risk is invaluable. The food was spectacular. The service was top-notch (I would give it an 11 if I could). Attentive, careful with allergies, making the experience easy for both of us. Initiatives like this, where a parent can feel at ease about what their child is eating, and she gets to discover new flavors, deserve recognition. We will definitely return.

Local with 100% gluten-free menu and that always provides a guarantee since there are 2 celiacs in the family. We tried several dishes, others we couldn't because they ran out... some good, others just okay. The trio of Mochis for dessert wasn't worth it (we didn't even take a photo). Very nice staff, they served everything very quickly because we had a reservation at 1 PM and there was no one else. By 2 PM it was full, and since it’s a small place, the noise was quite bothersome. It’s a good option, but I’m not sure if I would repeat it.

An excellent experience. The food was delicious, with a lot of flavor and incredible quality in every dish. It is greatly appreciated to find a 100% gluten-free place where you can eat peacefully and enjoy authentic Japanese food without worries. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy. Without a doubt, a restaurant we will return to. Highly recommended for both celiacs and anyone who wants to eat quality Japanese food.

This is our first time here, and we were treated very well, and the food was delicious! We ordered three more dishes: pork gyozas, japotinos (battered shrimp), and fried rice with carabineros and avocado. The waitress Michelle was incredibly friendly and recommended two more places from the same group: one for burgers (Ardemos) and another for pizzas (Bastardi). Highly recommended, 100% gluten-free!

Gluten-free Japanese restaurant in central Madrid. They are halfway between what could be a good restaurant and an average one. The prices do not match the quality and execution of the sushi (disproportionate, negatively). The salmon nigiris and the yakisoba are the standout dishes, along with the Crab Roll. The rest of the menu is quite lacking, especially the tuna bites and the gyoza. Currently, there are much more interesting options in Madrid for that price.

Very good, 100% gluten-free Japanese. I had doubts not seeing it on the website, but indeed everything they have is gluten-free; they even only sell gluten-free drinks. The food is very delicious and tasty. We will repeat.

I really liked this Japanese place, plus the menu is gluten free. For starters, we ordered chicken and truffle gyozas and pork gyozas; they were tasty but honestly, I couldn't tell which was which, they tasted the same. The breaded shrimp were very good and well fried. We ordered fried rice with red shrimp tartar and avocado, I loved it. For sushi, we ordered 3 types: butterfish uramaki, one with tuna tartar, and one with flambéed foie; all three were quite good. For dessert, we tried all three, the mochi, the mascarpone flan, and my favorite, the pistachio and Nutella mousse. I don't give it 5 stars because while everything was good, nothing particularly stood out.

We spent a few days in Madrid and it came highly recommended as 100% gluten-free. Simply amazing. Everything was incredible, each dish was better than the last. A girl named Marcela served us with excellent service and was very nice and pleasant. I wish there was one in Malaga 🙏🙏

We went to El Japo, a 100% gluten-free Japanese restaurant, and the experience was quite positive — especially if you are celiac or avoid gluten. To start, being able to eat gyozas and mochis without worry was a real luxury (those with restrictions will understand 😅). The gyozas were very well made, with good browning and flavor. We tried several nigiris, makis, and also the fried rice, which surprised us a lot because we didn’t expect it to be like this: tasty, well executed, and not heavy at all. Additionally, the sushi had good cuts and fresh products. It was my birthday, and I indicated it in the reservation, but it didn’t seem like they took it into account. The service was somewhat overwhelmed: they were polite, but the attention was slow, and at times it felt like they couldn’t keep up with everything. For drinks, we ordered red wine: they only had one Italian option, but it was actually good and paired well with the food. In summary: a recommendable place, especially for those looking for truly gluten-free Japanese food and wanting to enjoy dishes that are normally hard to find adapted. We would repeat 👍

A truly authentic experience for those of us who are allergic or celiac. Without a doubt spectacular! The food was very good, the portions just perfect for me. I am allergic to gluten and soy and I had no problem eating, on the contrary, it was wonderful. We will definitely return and recommend it a thousand times! The waiters were excellent and very attentive.
