Google Review ⭐ 1 Star "Dangerous for Coeliacs and Zero Accountability" My wife, Carmen, who is coeliac, suffered a terrible experience at TGI Fridays in La Gavia, Madrid on 2 January. She specifically ordered a dessert from the gluten-free menu and repeatedly emphasized to the waitress that the dessert must be gluten-free. Despite her clear instructions, the staff negligently served her the same dessert as her companions, which did contain gluten, while falsely assuring her it was safe. As a result, Carmen arrived home severely sick, suffering from abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea and headache This level of incompetence and disregard for the health of customers with dietary restrictions is absolutely disgusting. To make matters worse, we submitted a formal complaint through the customer service portal on the same day, 2 January, and have received no response as of 18 January. The lack of accountability and complete silence from the company is appalling. This is not just poor service—it’s dangerous. If your restaurant cannot ensure the safety of customers with dietary requirements, then you should not claim to cater to them. We trusted you and you failed spectacularly. Shame on TGI Fridays for endangering my wife’s health and for ignoring our complaint. I strongly urge others with dietary restrictions to avoid this restaurant at all costs. This level of negligence could result in even more serious consequences for someone else.
