Food Saturday, May 23rd. Appetizers and burgers with and without gluten were fine. But the "gluten-free cheesecake" is neither cheesecake nor cake. It's a tasteless sponge that they served us after waiting 20 minutes for it, frozen in the center, and charged us €6.95. I mentioned it to the manager, and instead of waiving the charge or offering us compensation for the 20-minute wait and for serving a frozen and tasteless product, she said, "Oh, okay, I'll mention it to the kitchen. Of course, it needs to be heated in the microwave...". And? Why should I pay you almost €7 for a bland and frozen sponge that resembled nothing like a cheesecake? They need to pay attention to these details, especially coming from the manager, who could have chosen not to charge for that as a courtesy (also, she made a mistake, charged another table, and we waited more than 20 minutes). I didn’t want to argue because I was with my little kids... but I don’t think we’ll be back. A lot of noise and too many people. The positive point was the South American waitress with a wrist brace; she was lovely. She served us quickly at first (except for the already mentioned "dessert"), and she always had a smile on her face. I’ve attached photos of some dishes. My kids liked the burgers.

No podía tomar nota…

It’s a shame that a gluten-free menu is offered but you can’t remove ingredients due to allergies. That they seat you at a table with crumbs from previous diners. That the only thing offered is a gluten-free mixed sandwich that’s as hard as a rock and some fries that are embarrassing. Even so, the gluten-free Vips Club sandwich my partner ordered to try was also lamentable, much worse than the normal one. It’s better not to offer gluten-free food options. Allergic and intolerant people should never go to Vips.
