Four of us, one of whom has celiac disease, went there for breakfast. We had two pancakes with nut cream, one each of Sweet Dreams (croissant, granola-yogurt bowl with fruit, and a tart), Morning Evergreen (sandwich, bowl, and tart), and a Power Morning (two rolls and toppings, scrambled eggs, bowl, and tart), along with drinks. Instead of the sandwich, I was able to get a sandwich. The rolls and croissant were fresh and crispy, which is rare for gluten-free baked goods. The classic toppings (jam, sausage, cheese) were what you'd expect. My vegan version with sun-dried tomatoes, fresh arugula, and vegan spreads and creams was fresh, flavorful, and "something different." The pancakes (3 pancakes per serving) were warm and fluffy, the nut cream a dark, tangy flavor, and, like the pancakes themselves, not heavily sweetened and delicious. The fruit salad in the bowls was fresh with orange segments, melon, and other fruits (including papaya?), and the yogurt was soy yogurt, which I only realized when I saw another breakfast being freshly prepared. The raw cakes (tarts) are roughly similar to what we know as Philadelphia cake: a base with a corresponding mousse on top. I personally really enjoyed the cappuccino; I prefer a more dairy-based version. We had regular cow's milk and a vegan alternative for a free choice. The ambiance is modern, clean, but cozy. It's a bakery with an attached café area. We received very friendly service, and some items were even brought to our tables, although self-service and, of course, clearing the table is the norm, probably due to capacity reasons (one person was responsible for everything). It was also no problem to express special requests. While we were sitting there, I saw several times how ordered sandwiches and rolls were freshly prepared according to customer orders. Priceless: The family member with celiac disease didn't have their "gluten-free special meal" set aside, but could choose freely from the menu, didn't have to worry about crumbs on everyone else's plates, and could taste and share food. In total, we spent around €100 for four people. Why am I not deducting points for the high price? Because the price itself isn't a sign of quality, and I think it's inappropriate to compare this bakery-cafe with conventional bakeries or cafes. You don't compare the unit price of apples and mangoes and then conclude that mangoes are inferior due to their significantly higher unit price. Completely gluten-free bakeries are rare, and genuine bakery baked goods come at a price, even if they're gluten-free. Personally, I also find it nice when each individual ingredient isn't charged separately. My cow's milk cappuccino was probably a bit cheaper to make than one with a vegan milk alternative. But I'm happy to cover the extra 20 cents. Honestly, we would have paid a similar amount for four people at a conventional cafe, and we probably wouldn't have eaten more just because there might have been "more choice" or even a buffet with "limitless" food. In any case, we were very satisfied and full with what we had.

Small café, very friendly staff, great options (especially for sweet tooths!). It's also great that everything is gluten-free. However, I would have preferred either a bit more choice or less unusual savory items. The items were all pre-prepared in the display case, like at a bakery, which isn't a problem in principle. However, almost every dish had something I don't really like (beets, for example). It would have been nice to offer simpler dishes that didn't have an aftertaste.

Totally worth the detour! We had a nice brunch and got some snacks for on the go as well. When we mentioned that had a long trip home, they gave us a pack of christmas cookies. Such a nice gesture, lovely place for anyone who is glutenfree!

We liked this place. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived, most things were sold out. I guess it is because the place is new, and some time is needed to correctly evaluate the demand. A little out of the center of the town. It is great to have a dedicated gluten free and vegan Cafe! The place is very nice.
