Absolutely delicious Greek food. Extensive menu for lunch and dinner. All very fresh and tasty. Lots of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan dishes. Look forward to a return visit. Friendly and helpful staff.

We've eaten at some amazing restaurants over the past two weeks on our European vacation - and Olijfje is right at the top! Excellent service, incredible food! Everything is first rate. The prices are very reasonable and the gluten free options were excellent for my wife. Make a reservation and enjoy a perfect meal!

Great and really tasty food, really friendly service. They have a wide range of gluten free options and some plates that were not gluten free they served the meat separately to me so it would not have gluten cross contamination. I really recommend this place! Our favorite were the stuffed peppers/paprikas

I've been here four times, even though I don't live anywhere close. Tonight, I dined by myself and observed. Every visit I notice how attentive, kind, and quick the staff is. I see there is pretty much always at least one staff member immediately available and keeping an eye on the tables. They ask how you're doing and they ask about your food with a smile. Empty tables are cleared quickly. Who I believe is the owner is also frequently taking and serving orders and chatting with diners. Tonight, a diner dropped a personal item and a staff member arrived at her table to pick up the item before the diner could. The portions are generous and the prices fair, especially considering that bread, olives, and a glass of water are complimentary. Every time the food arrives quickly and tastes delicious (I also love the rice!). They have always been very accommodating by easily changing a meal so that I can eat it with my food intolerances. One time, someone I was dining with said they weren't sure about whether to get skewers A or B, and a staff member immediately offered "why not one of each?" One time, I was offered a complimentary salad. Tonight, I was offered a bit of complimentary dessert - which I really appreciated (even though I could not eat it, which a well-meaning staff member did not know). It's the people and service on top of the tasty food that make this place really stand out to me. I will find an opportunity to return!

Absolutely amazing staff. So friendly and so accommodating especially as we had a person with gluten-free dietary requirements. So inclusive and made us as tourists feel really at home. Delicious food 😋 I really recommend this amazing restaurant, the staff was so nice. We even got a dessert and a salad on the house!! Really made our holiday x

Best food I’ve eaten in Amsterdam for five days. The chicken was exquisite, the service was super kind, they offered me gluten free bread (and had many gluten free options on the menu). The food was amazing and came very quickly. I truly recommend this place to everyone!

Wow! The food here was wonderful, plenty of gluten free options and the gluten free bread was delicious. The staff were brilliant, attentive and helpful. I would highly recommend having a visit. Fast service, no waiting and it's a really nice place to sit. I would definitely come back when we visit Amsterdam again.

Random Tuesday night in August and it was busy but the staff were wonderful and the foot incredible. The gluten free choice is excellent but more than that the taste is beautiful and you feel so welcome. You absolutely must visit here.

One word describes OLIJFJE ..awesome !! We were welcomed as if we were regulars , the food was outstanding and service to match . Our gracious host was John (owner) on both evenings with the collaboration of Sinan. Thank you Celine and Nicky who made our experience all the more enjoyable. A lovely young lady called Celine took excellent care of me and my wife. She was very attentive and cheerful. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great and the wine was superb. I ordered the mixed grill which came with a lamb cutlet, 2 skewers of lamb and chicken and a separate piece of spiced lamb. All the meat was succulent and incredibly tasty. The deserts were delicious too. I highly recommend this excellent restaurant. 10/10.
