I am celiac so was a frequent customer at the various Copains throughout Paris. We ordered 2 iced lattes at this specific one which came to 19 euros...we were quite shocked at the price having ordered an identical coffee at a different Copains the previous day and it not being near this price. There wasn't enough ice in the drink and mine was lukewarm at best. We were asked if we wanted 'strong' coffee but it was essentially milk. A shame really as the iced latte I'd had at a different Copains was 10/10.

I went to this Copains on my trip to Paris to buy some baked goods for someone dear to me, who can’t eat gluten. I was so happy to hear about it. When I went in around 10am on April 20th, I was met by the friendliest barista. She was able to answer my questions and help me buy lots of wonderful looking pastries and bread. I forgot to ask her name because I had to get to the train station. I hope her boss can figure out who represented the shop superbly based on the date and time. The service and atmosphere was great. I only tried one of the things I bought, a cinnamon roll, and I have to say it is the best non-gluten pastry I have ever eaten. It is hard to get the consistency to match the bread you’re used to if you can eat gluten but this cinnamon roll is good not just good for something gluten free. I wish I could open a branch in Erfurt, Germany. Fabulous. Great taste, nice atmosphere, stellar service…I can’t say that last part about all my gastronomical experiences in Paris, hélas! I spent so much because I bought a lot of pastries to try and two separate breads. I forgot to mention that my French is very limited. Her English was phenomenal and didn’t make me feel bad that I couldn’t speak French.

Favorite bakery ever since it opened, the staff is incredibly friendly and the vibes are always right. Welcome to Cassandre, the new staff member! Food-wise : if you thought gluten free was bland, tasteless, boring, mid or dry — this establishment is about to change your whole life. Only nourishing, filling, savory treats here — and you will find something to your taste, no doubt about it (even non gluten free people can’t get enough) ♡

I do not need gluten free or choose vegan or organic, but this delightful modern and upbeat cafe has them if so needed or desired. The lemon poppy-seed cake was the tastiest that I have ever experienced. The carrot cake can be warmed (a new and delicious experience!). The coffee comes in 4 intensities, which was very welcome, as was the good sized serving! Customer service was excellent.

Had the croissant, lemon cake, carrot cake, Rose Latté. Would’ve tried more if I could fit another bite. Cleanliness was outstanding, with every surface being spotless. The design of the place is elegant but inviting, and the worker (he looked like Timothée Chalamet if you squint your eyes) was very kind and helpful. Being celiac for over a decade, this place was such a breath of fresh air with delicious classics and savory creations, all of which are baked every morning and taste even better than they look (which is saying plenty since they look so perfectly made that I wasn’t sure whether they were inedible display models or the actual product). 10/10, will be coming back whenever in Paris!

I was warmly greeted by a very courteous barista that gave me a tour of the menu, making recommendations based on what I had mention I usually like. He was very friendly and made a recommendation that I might not have chosen, and it was a lovely surprise. I had the rose latte with one of their specialty coffees. It was clearly a beautiful drink, but also delicious. The rose didn’t overpower the coffee, ( which I was afraid it would happen) it made it a very interesting and enjoyable drink. Also it has a good selection of vegan treats, and everything is gluten free.
