Celine the receptionist checked me in and was patient and beyond hospitable! I had her check me in to Brasserie and the food has blown me away. Kenneth served me an old fashioned to start and it was on par to be one of the best I have had. The raw oysters from Canada had their original salty sea ocean juices and were delicious. I then moved on to the beef tartar with jalapeno, turnips and coriander and it just popped! You can taste the hearty beef with the spicy jalapeno and coriander with the crunchy bread crumbs on top -so fresh, spicy and tangy-I loved it. The halibut ceviche was in a yogurt and dill sauce with cucumber and was so fresh flavorful. I didn’t even mention the butter on the bread, omg… I don’t know but either my taste buds are on fire or this food is incredible…I think both! The reindeer had a very slight game taste and was tangy with sweet browned carmelized onions and crispy broccolini tips…yum! I enjoyed it with the Les Lauves Bandol 2018 red wine which was big, crisp, and smooth. Kenneth and Celine went above and beyond to connect and make me feel welcome.
