We stayed for a week in this hotel and what can I say, it was simply perfect for gluten-free. At breakfast, there was a separate buffet for GF, at lunch and dinner there was a menu identical to the normal one, where you could choose between three first courses and three second courses. To avoid contamination, a sample of the buffet vegetables and bread is placed at the table. Every evening there were homemade desserts, not always identical to those with gluten, but good.

I stayed for a week and besides being celiac, I am lactose intolerant. The service is very attentive and capable. At meals, I found a plate of vegetables and a bun already on the table. The bread for other diners was contained in a bag on each table. Lunch and dinner offered three first courses and three second courses to choose from, the same as for those without intolerances. There was always dessert for dinner. Breakfast had a dedicated buffet, but since the presence of lactose was not specified, they brought me a plate already on the table with at least six different and fresh slices of cake. There were also packaged options available. I really felt pampered and had a wonderful time.

I stayed in these hotels for a week and I can only say one thing: for us celiacs, it is paradise! Breakfast had a corner dedicated to gluten-free options, for lunch and dinner there was a menu for us identical to the gluten option with three choices every day, and in the evening there was always a dessert dedicated to us, all delicious! The dining staff were super attentive! As for the buffet, a special uncontaminated plate was provided, and there was always a gluten-free bun on the table. Besides this, the hotel is located a few meters from the beach and the center of San Benedetto is a 10-minute walk away; the room was excellent, renovated with a huge terrace.

We spent the Ferragosto week in this hotel and I must say that reality far exceeded expectations. Courteous and knowledgeable staff at the reception, spacious and clean room with daily towel changes. The food was a delight; for the first time, my son who is celiac had a menu identical to ours (of course gluten-free), a lunch on Ferragosto worthy of a wedding, with a simple and engaging atmosphere thanks to the animation girls. Special thanks to the dining room manager: Johnny and to Gabriele the waiter who assisted us, thank you very much for your competence and humanity; you went beyond words... Thank you hotel Giancarlo because we will definitely return.

We stayed at Hotel Giancarlo in July 2025 and had a wonderful time. Very clean hotel with daily bathroom linen changes. Rooms were always clean and tidy. The food was excellent, even for those with celiac disease, with very fast, friendly, and attentive service. Great buffet of vegetables, first courses, second courses, and desserts/fruit. For kids, there is a nice playground area and friendly entertainers who are very available, even with short afternoon activities, plus a dance evening after dinner. Car parking in a closed but unguarded area not far from the hotel. The structure is just a few steps from the beach and a long pleasant walk under palm trees along the promenade. The bathing establishment is clean and organized with fine sand very suitable for small children. We had a great time and wouldn't mind returning; highly recommended especially for those with celiac disease because the food is excellent!!!

Perfect vacation. Don't be fooled by what seems like a family-run hotel; it's their strength! You feel welcomed and pampered like you can't experience anymore in large holiday resorts. Smiles and kindness everywhere, from the reception to the bar, from the restaurant to the service staff. Although our room was one of the smallest and without a balcony, we were satisfied because it was clean and well soundproofed: the train passing underneath is practically inaudible and never disturbs our rest. Most of the other rooms also have nice balconies, so... even better! The cuisine is a true highlight. The quality and variety of the food are exceptional, with plenty of buffet appetizers, sorbet at lunch, and fantastic desserts at dinner. And all the dishes are also available in a Gluten Free version: a true paradise. I stayed at the Giancarlo hotel with my 9-year-old son during the third week of June. I should preface that I had never been to San Benedetto del Tronto before. The hotel is comfortable and well-managed, with excellent dishes offered, different every evening. The gluten-free food was great, paying special attention to celiac customers (I was one of those). The menu was the same as the others. We thank all the staff in the dining area who were very kind, with a special mention to maître Johnny, a fantastic person, and Alice, who served us with warmth and care throughout our stay. My son celebrated his birthday during our stay, and Johnny arranged a small cake that I could also eat (delicious!). The reception hall staff were extremely kind, especially the owner. The beach is nearby with reserved loungers. Central location. Take into account the train tracks for those choosing rooms not facing the street, but surely this problem is present in all other hotels since the railway runs along the entire coastline. The bike rental service was excellent at 1 euro/hour (I wasn’t charged for it in the final bill, and we used them), they were well-maintained, and there were also 2 bikes for children aged 8 and up. The fenced parking a few meters from the hotel was great, and they provide you with the key for your entire stay, so you can come and go as you please. A round of applause for the entertainment both at the beach and in the hotel. The pool was also beautiful.

I stayed the first week of August 2023. I would start with the only negative point for which I would blame the hotel very little. The agreed beach. Umbrellas sacrificed for hotel guests and positioned at the edge of the estate for seasonal guests, strictly deserted. Now let's move on to the countless positives: Beach 100 meters away. Very convenient private parking just steps away, essential in San Benedetto del Tronto! The restaurant staff and maître are from a higher-level hotel, friendly, extremely available, and very knowledgeable. Excellent reception. Room very spacious and clean, daily towel changes and bed sheets changed four times in seven days. Excellent food, varied buffet both at breakfast and for meals. Varied and well-curated menu, perfect portions, and amazing first courses. The icing on the cake, a paradise for celiacs. Absolutely recommended. Thank you for the welcome. This morning our very pleasant stay at the Giancarlo hotel (my husband, my three children, one of whom is gluten intolerant) came to an end. Excellent location, exquisite cuisine with and without gluten, very kind and attentive staff. The only downside was having rooms without balconies and near the railway, probably our fault for booking late. We will definitely come back.

One word: fantastic! The whole staff is marvelous, everyone, one by one, and they make you experience a real vacation! There is always so much to do, but in total relaxation and fun! As a celiac, I can't help but highlight the excellence of the catering service and gluten-free menus; not everyone offers the same menu for everyone and has the opportunity of multiple choices for starters and main courses, a varied menu that truly satisfies everyone. Excellent cuisine and very knowledgeable dining staff :) Thank you for the beautiful vacation!
