Good gluten-free panuozzo but really terrible service. The worst part wasn't the 40-minute wait to take the order, but the wrong order that arrived at the table: while the diners were eating, 2 of them were forced to watch because they weren’t served anything! The order was completely forgotten by the kitchen, not even an apology from them, in fact they showed arrogance and haughtiness. It's a shame that a good product was overshadowed by such terrible service. Totally to forget, both the place and the evening.

When you go to a place for a reason and then choose an alternative that turns out to be a pleasant discovery. In fact, we went to Gragnano for the cherry festival 🍒 but there was an endless line waiting for the shuttles that would take us to the village where the event was taking place. We found ourselves right in the middle of Piazza Marconi and so, in response to a question posed to a local who was in line with us about where to eat the specialty of the town (the panuozzo), the answer was: you are in the middle of the town square where there are three different bakeries/restaurants that have what you are looking for, one of the three is the right one. Without hesitation, I instinctively walked straight into what looks like a corridor of a building and followed the indication to F.lli Mascolo. A world opens up: at the entrance, a huge counter dedicated to making panuozzi with at least 10 staff busy preparing! In front, a small but well-equipped room completely separated for gluten-free products (wonderful) and at the back, a large room with tables to accommodate groups and couples. But let's get to the point: the panuozzi, each panuozzo is for two people and can be filled as desired (according to the menu and truly good), a craft lager, beautifully cloudy which is truly excellent, and seeing that the panuozzo was really abundant, I wanted to try one of the fried dishes, another specialty of the house, a potato croquette but made with real potatoes, not potato flour, fried just right (唯一的不足之处，可能马铃薯有点生) but this does not detract from the fact that I will return because it is truly a great place to eat the local specialty as it should be!

Great pizzeria also for celiacs and lactose intolerant people, the gluten-free pizza dough is made by them and is very good. Those who are lactose intolerant should call about the mozzarella. I had it without mozzarella and I can tell you it was delicious. Fast service, very kind staff, great price... I recommend the panuozzo, their specialty... Stefano from TARANTO
