Disappointing gluten-free pizza: the dough was loose, soggy and very thin, tending to break apart. Perhaps undercooked. Mixed fried food was average. Average price for Tropea. Polite staff.

Restaurant in the center of Tropea, with seats only outside, but with the possibility of closing the veranda. We had a quality seafood crudités, followed by a well-prepared and cooked pacchero with tomato and riccio. The gluten-free mixed fried fish was decent, unremarkable but not bad. Staff was helpful, although quite busy.

Questa sera ho gustato una pizza senza glutine strepitosa, preparata rigorosamente dal loro pizzaiolo con impasto fatto in casa. Niente basi pronte! Ho scelto la Mortazza: crema di basilico, mortadella, burratina, pistacchio e basilico. Un capolavoro di gusto! 🍕💚 La pizza viene cotta in forno a legna, ma sempre in teglia separata per evitare ogni contaminazione. E non finisce qui: anche la pasta viene cucinata a parte, con pentole dedicate. Sono super attrezzati per i celiaci, e si vede che c’è una vera cultura della sicurezza alimentare. Per chi ama il fritto, c’è una friggitrice esclus glutine. Ho accompagnato il tutto con una birra gluten free e sono uscita felice e soddisfatta. Il titolare ha un celiaco in famiglia, quindi l’attenzione è massima. Il personale è giovane, accogliente, premuroso e molto preparato. Mio marito, che non è celiaco, ha assaggiato la mia pizza e… ha detto che era buonissima. E fidatevi: se lo dice lui, lo era davvero! Consigliatissimo: 10e lode! Tonight I had an amazing gluten-free pizza, made entirely by their own pizzaiolo with fresh homemade dough no pre-made bases! I chose the Mortazza: basil cream, mortadella, burrata, pistachio, and fresh basil. A flavor explosion! 🍕💚 The pizza is wood-fired, but always baked in a separate tray to avoid any cross-contamination. And it doesn’t stop there: they cook gluten-free pasta separately too, using dedicated pots. They are extremely well-equipped for celiacs, and you can tell they take food safety seriously. If you love fried food, they even have a dedicated gluten-free fryer. I paired everything with a gluten-free beer and left feeling happy and satisfied. The owner has a celiac in the family, so the care and attention are top-notch. The staff is young, welcoming, attentive, and very knowledgeable. My husband, who isn’t celiac, tasted my pizza and said it was delicious and trust me, if he says that, it really was! Highly recommended: 10 out of 10! If you're vacationing in Tropea or nearby, make sure to stop by. I’ll definitely be back I’ve already spotted their seafood risottos, and I can’t wait to try them! 🦐🍚

I chose this restaurant because I read various reviews about the gluten-free options... and I must say that everything was delicious! The staff was very kind, Giuseppe recommended that we order 2 first courses, both gluten-free (even though only I am celiac), and I have to say that I was able to try 2 different first courses and they were wonderful, perfectly cooked and with an excellent seasoning... generous portions! Highly recommended, I will return soon! 😅

Recommended! Kindness and quality of the dishes are the key words of this small restaurant in the center of Tropea. It’s a pleasure to eat these delights outdoors in the square. The gluten-free options are excellent! Fresh bread, appetizers, and pasta. We didn’t try dessert because we were full, but we will return. The owner and Antonio, the waiter, were very kind!

Looking for a gluten-free restaurant, I had chosen this place based on other reviews... Very friendly staff. Normal waiting time. Good pizza. Gluten-free pizza Excellent! (the dough they prepared made a difference, compliments). I hope that other restaurateurs embrace your philosophy regarding gluten-free food.

Delicious pizza, crumbly and filling! They also have lactose-free mozzarella for those intolerant, which is a plus for me because most places don't offer it! Very kind staff and a quiet place! Highly recommended!
