Lovely little bar, in an "antique" style. Very nice staff and excellent hot chocolate. FRESH gluten-free products, both sweet and savory!

I was there during the gluten-free festival... a nice, well-kept, and welcoming environment, furnished with style and managed with elegance, great music and good ice cream that was served to me as gluten-free... really good ice cream... so much so that I went back twice without too many worries since the bar was full of celiacs and the bar in the gluten-free square... ...and on the second visit, I realized that the cones displayed in the showcase are regular cones... My husband asked for clarification, complaining about this oversight, and the response was that celiacs often prefer cones with gluten, which isn’t a big problem, and of course... it depends on the degrees of celiac disease.... because in the end, it's the customer's responsibility what happens... Well, a five-star rating marred, perhaps, by unpreparedness, perhaps by a deficient HACCP consultant or by the malice of us celiacs?... I don't know, but I was in Sarzana to organize things for children for free and let's just say I didn't shine... what a shame! 5 stars but 0 in food safety. I'm writing from my husband's account because I'm quite well-known in the gluten-free world and don't want to ruin a nice place... I would just like the aspect of food safety to improve. MAYA
