They offer various gluten-free options, but only Margherita pizza, which was very good. The location is very beautiful and the staff is courteous.

The pasta with sea urchins is very good, too bad they only have penne. They also serve GF bread. Nice place.

Good food, very friendly staff. Portions may be a bit small. They also have gluten-free bread. They can make gluten-free fries, but no other fried items. The grilled vegetables are a bit pricey because they really bring just a few, but I have noticed that this is the case in other restaurants too.

I found this place by chance. They welcomed us without a reservation and all the staff were excellent. The first courses, second courses, and gluten-free pizza were great. I had the first course (they only have penne which can be paired with any sauce) and it was amazing. I saw the gluten-free pizza at another table and it looked delicious, with high edges like Neapolitan pizzas. Honest prices, among the lowest in Tropea.

The entrance of the restaurant "Porta Vaticana" is very beautiful. The staff is very welcoming, and we found a table outside the restaurant right away. The waiters were attentive in bringing us water and allowed us time to choose from the lavish menu the desired dish. After ordering the pizza and, as a starter, the salad, they didn't ask if we wanted to have the cold dish before the hot one. So, we received everything at once, which was a pity. We requested, as per the menu, the gluten-free Margherita pizza, but they informed us that they do not offer gluten-free foods; perhaps the menu needs updating. Everything was good, considering they were simple dishes. The quality and price are excellent; we expected to pay more given the well-maintained place. I will gladly return on my next vacation here in Tropea.
