The food, service and location were a matched triad of excellence! I had the whitebait for a starter and their steak pudding for a main; my daughter got a prodigious portion of "mini fish and chips". But their desserts were really the stars of the show, with a perfect cheesecake and excellent (gluten free!) apple crumble providing the crescendo to the triumphal dinner. I highly recommend that you book because they don't have many tables, and the most sought after have astounding valley views.
