A huge thank you to The Ship Inn for making our lunch stop in Swanage such a lovely experience! As visitors for the day, we needed somewhere genuinely Coeliac friendly, which can sometimes be surprisingly difficult to find. Thankfully, Google pointed us in the right direction! We popped in to take a look and were instantly welcomed into a clean, calm and beautifully decorated pub by such friendly staff. We were immediately put at ease by how knowledgeable and honest they were about the gluten free options, including explaining that the chips weren’t Coeliac safe because of the shared fryers. We really appreciated that level of care and transparency. We opted for the Gluten Free burger and, honestly, the bun was by far the best gluten free burger bun I’ve ever had! Absolutely fantastic. Thank you for making what could have been a tricky lunch stop into such a successful and enjoyable one. We’ll definitely remember The Ship Inn fondly and would happily return.
