Yaylo went over and above for me when I visited recently. I was only in Reading for two days and they really made me felt welcome and at home when I went for lunch. Nothing was a bother, they even went out of their way to make me something which was sold out. Not to mention this is the nicest gluten free food I’ve ever had! 10/10 super friendly staff and amazing food

Was looking for a place where could take my coeliac daughter for hot chocolate & cake. What an amazing gluten free cafe. Highly recommend 👌

Absolutely loved my visit to Yaylo today! I popped in after my train was cancelled, and it turned out to be the best detour ever. As someone who’s coeliac, finding somewhere that’s both safe and delicious can be tricky — but Yaylo completely blew me away. I tried the pistachio cookie, lemon and blueberry cake, and a cheese scone, and every single bite was incredible. The flavours were fresh and balanced, the textures were perfect (you’d never guess everything is gluten free!), and the presentation was so inviting. The team were super friendly and helpful, and the whole place has such a lovely, relaxed vibe — the kind of spot you instantly want to come back to. Thank you, Yaylo, for turning a disrupted travel day into a real treat! 💚
