absolutely LOVED this place!!! wouldn’t even know it’s gluten free. had the hot honey chicken and waffles and it was so friggin perfect in every way. crispy waffles with chewy fluffy middles, perfectly succulent chicken thighs with crunchy flavorful breading (not at all greasy either) the hot honey actually had a good amount of kick (so well balanced) and the fresh sprouts and aioli cut the heat and freshened the palette. honestly this is one of (if not) the best meals ive had in all of england, just bc they did what they do, with creativity and they did it right in every way. good job you lot!!!! and also excellent service (which i’ve also found extremely rare in the last year and half of traveling and eating across all of england) needless to say i’m a huge fan. if i lived around here i’d want to live at utter waffle. and i will be back for a hot desk sesh - a super cool thing where they offer unlimited hot drinks for mega cheap with strong wifi for us desk junkies.

There is nothing more depressing than attending a wedding and watching everyone else devour the evening food -- usually pizza -- while you sit with nothing to eat because you're gluten free. So when it came to planning our wedding, we wanted to ensure we could safely eat everything. We were so excited to see Utter Waffle listed as a preferred vendor for Brockwell Hall, because their waffles are THE BEST. They rocked up in a seriously beautiful food truck and so many people flocked to it that I honest worried we hadn't fed people enough with the main meal! Choosing Utter Waffle for our evening food was the best decision we could have made. Their pricing was competitive with the other vendors we reached out to, but their offering was so much better. We served one savoury and three different sweet waffles, AND they offered vegan alternatives, so every guest was able to enjoy!! Good luck finding other food trucks that can safely accommodate all of your guests' dietary/allergy requirements without sacrificing taste or costing the earth! And enjoy we did! We had 115 adult guests, and had chosen to do 90 savoury and 120 sweet waffles, which we thought was sufficient.. but we ran out! Thankfully only just at the end of the evening, but I think our guests would have happily kept eating! Truly can't recommend them enough. We had so many compliments on the original and delicious food. "Way better than pizza". James and Jules were both very easy to work with when organising the details and responded quickly to all of our various questions. They organised a tasting session for us and our parents and talked us through all the options and possibilities and really made it clear they cared about our event and what we wanted. We love that we can come back and eat here whenever we want! Just wish they had a location up north closer to us!!

Delizioso, semplice, ristorante in stile caffetteria senza fronzoli che si concentra sui waffle - sia salati che dolci. Tutti i waffle sono senza glutine e il mio amico celiaco ha adorato questo posto. Abbiamo scelto i loro waffle con pollo fritto e abbiamo concluso con waffle dolci guarniti con salsa di cioccolato e miele - ed era superbo! I waffle salati sono farciti con formaggio ed erbe, leggermente croccanti ma soffici, e pieni di sapore. I prezzi erano ragionevoli. L'unica lamentela? Potrebbero essere PIÙ GRANDI 😄 Tornerò sicuramente! Assicurati di prenotare un tavolo perché erano pieni durante le ore di punta del brunch nel weekend. Accettano anche cani/menù per cani disponibile.

Questo è uno dei miei posti preferiti a Herne Hill. Sono un cliente abituale e estremamente dipendente da questo posto. L'intero menù è a prezzi ragionevoli e senza glutine, il che è una benedizione per qualcuno intollerante al glutine come mia moglie. Il personale è fantastico e molto attento, e c'è una grande selezione di bevande, dalle birre GF e prosecco a frullati e succhi freschi, con l'Amber Juice che è il mio preferito. Ordino sempre il waffle di pollo fritto, e le patate hash al tartufo sono da urlo. Convenientemente situato a Herne Hill proprio di fronte al parco, offre anche opzioni da asporto se c'è sole e hai voglia di un picnic nel parco. Il posto è pet-friendly, cosa che non mi dispiace, e ha un'atmosfera fantastica. Ha anche un ristorante gemello a Balham, che ho visitato molte volte, e devo dire che l'esperienza è altrettanto buona che quella di Herne Hill, solo con un'atmosfera leggermente diversa, considerando che si trovano in due diverse località. Consiglio vivamente questo posto. Consiglio anche di prenotare in anticipo il tavolo, dato che è un ristorante molto affollato. Accettano anche i walk-in, ma potrebbe esserci una breve attesa.

Un posto fantastico per una colazione o un pranzo senza glutine! Personale molto cordiale, waffle soffici incredibili e una buona atmosfera. Tornerò sicuramente!

Amazing experience! I could my daughter's food knowing it was safe. You would never know it was gluten free. Fresh tasting delicious food. Highly recomend

Visita nostra prima ma sicuramente non l'ultima! La cura e l'attenzione di James sono state molto apprezzate e gradite. Cibo e bevande deliziose - perfette per una ragazza senza glutine e il suo ragazzo amante del glutine.

Sinceramente, i migliori waffle senza glutine che abbia mai mangiato e il miglior pollo fritto senza glutine. Tenero, croccante e si abbinava così bene tutto insieme (abbiamo avuto il pollo con i waffle!) Consiglio vivamente a chi non è nemmeno senza glutine, poiché ha lo stesso sapore! (Inoltre, il merchandising è così carino)

Excellent spot for a coeliac. The waffles were next level delicious. I had the Wafflin Chicken and an ultimate hot chocolate. The service was quick and friendly, highly recommend

Non perdere questo posto meraviglioso! I waffle erano assolutamente incredibili: è veramente un sogno per i celiaci che si avvera! Anche mio marito, che non è celiaco (o generalmente un fan dei waffle), li ha adorati! Il Biscoff Latte era anche straordinario...ne ho avuti due! 🥰 Inoltre, abbiamo avuto la MIGLIORE cameriera!! Fiona è stata attenta, gentile e così disponibile: è stata la ciliegina sulla torta della nostra esperienza fenomenale! Grazie ancora per aver creato uno spazio così meraviglioso! Non vedo l'ora di tornare a Londra e gustare di nuovo i vostri waffle...mi vengono i brividi solo a pensarci!

Credi alle recensioni positive. Queste cialde sono assolutamente deliziose. Se non sei celiaco, non sarai in grado di percepire la differenza e probabilmente le apprezzerai di più. Non essere come me, prenota un tavolo perché è affollato!

Me, My kids and my partner all loving the food here 💟 great self awareness about allergies, 100% recommend here. I'm the only gluten free person in the house but yet everyone enjoyed themselves we gone there a few times now! Oh yeah the staff are so kind and helpful too 😁

Cibo straordinario e personale molto cordiale. È completamente senza glutine e uno dei proprietari è celiaco, quindi è il posto perfetto da visitare se sei senza glutine. Hanno anche un ottimo menu vegano. I waffle e il pollo fritto sono incredibili e il personale è più che disponibile ad aiutare, torneremo sicuramente! Consiglio di prenotare nel fine settimana, poiché diventa davvero affollato.

Mi è veramente piaciuto questo posto! Siamo venuti qui per un brunch in una domenica e fortunatamente avevamo una prenotazione, era piuttosto affollato e c'era una piccola coda con forse 2-3 tavoli all'esterno. Il cibo è arrivato rapidamente ed era bellissimo, il waffle non aveva la consistenza che mi aspettavo, era un po' fermo e croccante ma potrebbe essere a causa del fatto che era senza glutine! Ho preso James, Jules e la gigante pesca e pensavo fosse una porzione generosa. Hanno un menu vegano separato, ma mi piace che la maggioranza dei piatti possa semplicemente essere vegana così le persone non si sentono escluse! Questo è un ottimo posto per gruppi, soprattutto se qualcuno ha restrizioni dietetiche! Tornerò sicuramente a provare qualcos'altro!

For a first-time-waffler, I’ve gotta say, I’m a believer! I think it’s pretty downhill from here though, as I think this is the best gig a waffle could have! The variety on the menu was plentiful. So many yummy choices. All gluten free too (bar one) which is so helpful. It was tricky to choose! However, both went for the fried chicken waffles; the toppings are well chosen and compliment each other beautifully. I couldn’t believe how pretty the food looked either - it definitely lived up to the funky decor. All in all, fabulous visit to this clearly much-loved-by-all local brunch spot - sheer indulgence at its best.
