Recently we had a dinner at this establishment with a large group of around 50 people. While the food was good, especially the sea bass, the service from a certain waiter was unacceptable. He was very difficult to communicate with, acted aggressively towards members of our party, and hadled our requests very unprofessionally. Examples of this were him slamming down a plate of ice cream in front of a man who clearly stated he was lactose intolerant and could not eat the dessert. Additionally, members of the group had to go around themselves to find out everyone’s meal preferences; a job that should likely be conducted by the waitressing staff. Overall, the communication with the restaurant regarding the allergies and meal preferences was very difficult and resulted in us having a different meal than we originally requested. I must say that the rest of the waitressing staff was very kind and helpful so the above comments do not concern them.

Abbiamo visitato il Grand Café D'n Ingel (Vrijthof 13, Maastricht, Paesi Bassi) per cena stasera, scegliendolo in base all'app Find Me Gluten Free e alle recensioni di Google. Il ristorante aveva un'atmosfera accogliente e invitante, e mentre non era troppo affollato, la nostra serata ha preso una svolta inaspettata quando abbiamo avvistato un topo correre sul pavimento. Cercando di ignorarlo, abbiamo continuato con le nostre bevande e la cena, che erano eccellenti. Sfortunatamente, abbiamo visto un altro topo più tardi. Il cameriere è accorso e ha pestato vicino a esso, spiegando che stavano cercando di "spaventarlo di nuovo tra le pareti" e che molte attività nella zona hanno problemi con i topi a causa dell'età degli edifici e del freddo—stava nevicando stasera. Ora, riguardo al cibo—perché quella parte era fantastica: - Il mio compagno ha preso il **filetto di manzo**, cotto alla perfezione e saporito. - Ho apprezzato i **medaglioni di maiale avvolti nella pancetta** con patatine fritte senza glutine, e il personale si è preso grande cura di garantire che il mio pasto fosse sicuro per le mie esigenze alimentari. - Il nostro amico ha optato per l'**halibut**, che è stato un altro successo. Per dessert, abbiamo condiviso la **cheesecake vegana senza glutine**, che era assolutamente divina, mentre il nostro amico ha preso la **torta di mele**, un trattamento bello e allettante. Sebbene il pasto fosse delizioso, l'apparizione di “Remy e i suoi sous-chef” (un omaggio a Ratatouille) è stata difficile da ignorare. Purtroppo, dopo aver letto altre recensioni, ho notato che un altro ospite ha menzionato lo stesso problema **sette mesi fa**—e ha persino incluso un video di un topo che correva. È chiaro che questo problema non è stato affrontato, il che è deludente, poiché offusca quello che potrebbe essere stato un'esperienza culinaria eccezionale.

Good gluten free menu available! Food has great taste and service is very good. The view is just perfect. Highly recommend :)
