I have been to this place twice during my long weekend in Ancona. Excellent meat, really good grilled vegetables, and gluten-free buns available. It is not part of the Aic circuit.

A beer menu that makes several pubs envious, and I can say that the one I chose was really good (I also appreciated the gluten-free option) and served with crunchy artisanal chips that were salted just right. The sandwich I chose was very good; you can tell the chefs put effort into the pairings. It might seem expensive, but the ingredients are quality, and quality comes at a price. For just over €20 per person, you can have dinner with a good sandwich and an excellent beer. A note of praise to the owner who stayed to chat with us and another customer, making the whole experience more "family-like."

We came from Brescia and decided to stop for lunch in this place in the center of Ancona. We ordered a sandwich with a drink and various snacks, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The gluten-free sandwich is probably the best I've ever eaten in my life. The service was impeccable and very friendly. I recommend it to everyone, especially to celiacs like me. We'll see each other soon!

I called this place to ask if they had gluten-free options, and I was told they had a gluten-free sandwich. Fortunately, I asked more questions to find out what surfaces the sandwich was cooked on, and I was told that the same grill as regular sandwiches was used (so it’s no longer safe for people with celiac disease because it’s contaminated by contact). The moral of the story is, if I had trusted them, I would have gotten sick. It's not a matter of space; for a sandwich suitable for people with celiac disease, you just need a separate pan and to wash your hands (because, in the end, those who have anaphylactic shocks are gluten-allergic, not celiac, you can check the AIC website). Please be more careful with the information you provide because people can get sick; it really just takes a little extra attention to be inclusive, and if you don’t want to, at least don’t give out wrong information.
