After calling to ensure they had gluten-free ice cream, I decided to go with my family. At the entrance, there was the A.I.C. symbol (Italian Celiac Association), which reassured me. Upon entering, there was only one counter in front of us and no written communication regarding gluten-free options. Perhaps naively, I thought all the ice cream was gluten-free, so I didn’t ask as I usually do. (In ice cream shops I know, unless specified, all ice cream, cones, and biscuits are gluten-free.) After tasting the chosen ice cream, I asked for confirmation, and the guy told me I should have told him, and that the ice cream I had just eaten contained gluten. What saddens me the most is that, in addition to not specifying that there was a separate fridge for gluten-free ice creams, which was absolutely not visible to those of us who do not know the place, he didn’t even seem concerned about what had happened. There was no mention of finding a solution or even a simple "how can I help you?" Regardless of whether the ice cream was good or not, or whose responsibility it was, I believe that the human aspect and relationship is the foundation of any type of business.

SHORT REVIEW: I stumbled upon this ice cream parlor by chance, driven by the excellent reviews, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I had strawberry and stracciatella with whipped cream: great flavors, creamy, especially the strawberry which was very fruity. There are many flavors available, including options for intolerances. The ice cream is approved, but the cone is less so, tasting industrial and a bit dry. Honest price: €3 for two flavors, with whipped cream and chocolate included for free. The place is small but well-kept and clean, with some seating available. Kind service, payment is made at the counter first. They also offer artisanal cakes. One of the best I've tried so far in Ancona. I would gladly return if I'm in the area. DETAILED REVIEW: I ended up at this ice cream parlor driven by the excellent reviews on Google Maps. I'm not a regular customer, but I was walking in the area and decided to give it a try. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Regarding the ice cream, I chose two fairly simple flavors: strawberry and stracciatella with whipped cream. I can't judge the entire offering, but the flavors I tasted convinced me: excellent creaminess and well-defined flavors, especially the strawberry, which had a fruity and fresh taste. Another positive point is the vast variety of flavors, more than forty, so there's really something for everyone. Options for lactose intolerant and other types of intolerances are also available, just ask the staff. A small downside is the cone: it is not artisanal but industrial, and the flavor is noticeable. A bit dry and not very tasty, I think it detracts somewhat from the goodness of the ice cream. Regarding prices, I had a small cone with two flavors for €3, with whipped cream and melted chocolate included for free, even both together. Excellent detail, as it's not a given. The whipped cream, by the way, was good. The price list is clear and well displayed with visible signs. You pay first at the counter, indicating the type and number of flavors. Some reviews complain about this system, but it is simply their way of working. They also make take-out ice cream with cups of various sizes. In my opinion, the quality-price ratio is fair: true, €3 for two flavors may seem in the average to high range, but the free addition of whipped cream/chocolate and the wide choice of flavors make it well worth it. Regarding service, the staff was kind and quick, nothing negative to report. The place is quite small, but well-kept, clean, and air-conditioned. There are some chairs and a counter where you can consume on-site, although there is not much space. A note on parking: the area isn't the most convenient in this regard. Finding a spot requires a bit of patience, or you have to park a bit before the ice cream shop. Finally, I would like to point out that the ice cream parlor also offers artisanal cakes, some visible directly in the showcase, available by reservation or for pick-up. Overall, I recommend this ice cream parlor. One of the best I have tried so far in Ancona. I would gladly return, depending on the possibility of passing by the area, which is not amongst the most central in the city.

I would like to thank the ice cream shop for their attention towards my wife who is celiac. In addition to having gluten-free ice creams, the person who served the ice cream was courteous enough to wash their hands before touching any utensils to serve the ice cream.
