Absolutely not recommended. I was here for lunch. The place was quite full but not crowded. Once seated, we asked the waitress if there were gluten-free options and she replied to check the menu because she didn’t have time to explain everything. There isn’t a dedicated gluten-free menu, but allergens are marked. So we checked, and to my great surprise, I found the Spätzle gf (among the various allergens, gluten is not marked). Once ordered, we received a nice plate with fried onion as decoration. Worried that it might contain gluten since it's fried, we asked another waitress if it was okay or if she could bring me another portion since I had specifically requested to eat gf. Only then did I find out that the Spätzle actually contain gluten: although it’s not marked on the menu, they are made from soft wheat flour. We pointed this out, and the new waitress said she would inform the manager about the menu issue and recommended that I have roasted chicken instead. In the end, I ate the chicken and had no problems, but no one apologized to us; in fact, they initially acted as if the mistake was ours. P.S. All interactions with the staff were made by my German boyfriend, so a possible misunderstanding due to a language barrier can be ruled out.
