We were in Tropea on Saturday and wanted a little snack, so I found this small street food stall and said let's try it out. I had the Burrata burger and my cousin had the tuna burger. The gentleman at the cash register was super nice! The gluten-free burgers have an additional charge of €2, which is completely legitimate since I live here and know that burgers in stores already cost €3.99 for a pack of two. So, there's not much profit made there. The burgers are heated on the same grill as the regular ones, but here they lay down a new parchment paper to avoid contamination. Five stars from both of us for the delicious burgers! Next time, I will try the octopus burger which is quite pricey at €14, but you have to treat yourself sometimes!

It well represents the concept of street food, good food, and has not applied any surcharge for gluten-free.

We went for dinner around 7 PM, the place doesn't have tables where you can eat the sandwich, so you take it and go. There was a couple in front of us, we ordered.... preparation of the S.G. sandwich. The "Chef" cleans the counter with a sort of rag and gloves that he already had on from the previous preparation, takes the packaged S.G. sandwich from the fridge, I immediately ask him to change gloves, he complies and looks at me perplexed/annoyed, I ask him to put it on the cutting board, previously used, to put some parchment paper during the presentation, since he had prepared things with gluten on the cutting board anyway. The same paper is used to warm the sandwich on the grill, he starts to fill the sandwich..... well, the ingredients are taken from the same containers where the gluten sandwiches were prepared...... so, is everything contaminated? When I pointed out to the "chef" the mistake they make by pretending to be organized "Gluten-free", I was told that no one has ever told him anything and that no one has ever been sick..... what to say..... at your own risk!

Good quality. They are quite attentive to contamination. They use parchment paper on the grill and a different cutting board. A good alternative in the center of Tropea for a different dinner.

A very pleasant discovery in the center of Tropea, just before the overlook on the main street. It consists of two separate venues, sharing the same name, located opposite each other, just a few meters apart. The first, along the main street, is a real street food spot, specializing in sandwiches with fish and other typical condiments. As a celiac, I greatly appreciated the option to have a gluten-free variant for all the sandwiches and to pair them with a good gluten-free beer. The sandwiches are truly delicious, and the price is very reasonable. As for the other venue, located in the alley directly opposite, it's a very nice and well-kept little restaurant. You can enjoy sandwiches here as well, but they also serve more elaborate dishes, all of excellent quality. Again, for celiacs, it's perfection. The staff are wonderfully courteous and kind in both venues. I highly recommend them for lunch, but also for a quick dinner while walking, a true delight in a city like this, or for a more enjoyable break.

A place truly TO LOVE. The staff (thanks again Felice) welcomed us immediately, explaining how they manage the entire gluten-free section. Spoiler: in a meticulous way! It became a regular stop on our vacation for sandwiches 🍔, poke, but also fried fish (yes, entirely gluten-free) and aperitifs 🍹 (yes, also contamination-proof). Everything based on fish, all delicious, and with fair prices. Additionally, the option for those who grab a sandwich/poke in the shop to sit at their tavern just 10 meters across is a real gem.

Great sandwiches with high-quality ingredients and top-notch courtesy! A perfect stop for those wanting to take a stroll in downtown Tropea without lingering too long at one of the many restaurants. Super also in a gluten-free version!
