A bit chaotic place since it is right on the street, and even if you book in advance, you risk being left outside waiting even past the reservation time (as happened to us). I recommend leaving home a bit earlier and being very patient with parking; I assure you it is not easy to find at all. I will tell you right away that if you are looking for tranquility and calm, this might not be the most suitable place. Overall, however, we ate really well and I really appreciate that they are very well equipped for gluten-free options. Prices are definitely high, but we are in Porto Rotondo, so it is understandable. For an appetizer, we had a tuna tartare for €26; good, not spectacular, and definitely too expensive. As for the main courses, we had a gluten-free octopus which was really super good, and a mixed fried fish gluten-free too, which was really very very good. Super fresh fish, crispy batter, and as I mentioned, they are really very attentive and equipped for gluten-free needs. The octopus was definitely better than the fried fish; it was truly exceptional! They also make pizzas, first courses, and even gluten-free desserts. Speaking of desserts, we had a chocolate tortino and a seada (gluten-free); the latter were also very good. It’s a pity they didn’t offer us mirto at the end of the meal, but in a place like this, I don’t expect it. Friendly staff that make you feel comfortable right away despite the chaos. We definitely recommend stopping by, especially if you are celiac. Thank you for your attention, Riccardo and Laura

Most delicious pizzas! They have gluten free pizza dough option too, which is very good. Tried the traditional sardinian desert too - seasa, which was, surprisingly, hot, but veeery tasty. Service is a bit slow, which is typical for sardinia it seems.

My wife and I enjoyed a great dining experience here on a Saturday evening. She substituted gluten free pasta and it was great. Nice menu with many great choices clearly marked ingredients and allergies. Excellent food, cocktails and atmosphere.

When you pay for quality but do not receive it, you always feel like you made a bad investment, and I fear this is the case with La Rosa Dei Venti. Let's start from the bottom: a gluten-free pizza, a fried fish dish, two desserts, wine, water, and a coffee. Total bill: 117 euros. I understand the maintenance costs that can exist these days in Costa Smeralda and I have no issue paying "dear" for good food, but when spending a similar amount for what we ate, expecting a certain standard of quality is a must: the pizza base was, at least in appearance and taste, a pre-packaged base, the frying was overcooked and, in my personal opinion, not fresh, not to mention the desserts where the consistency was reminiscent of marble. The service was, to say the least, lacking: as soon as we sat down, we were served by three different waiters, each of whom did not know what had been done and what hadn’t by the others, and then we found ourselves waiting nearly 20 minutes with dirty plates in front, waiting for someone to notice that we were calling them. In the past, it was not like this: until a couple of years ago, in fact, we had been there before, and we had a really pleasant memory, especially of the gluten-free pizza which at the time even surpassed the normal one in texture and taste. We will see in the future if they can get back on track. Personally, as of now, not recommended.
