The paradise for celiacs, and not. Amazing sweets and very good savory products, be sure to try their empanadas. The cinnamon rolls and a roll with cream are highly recommended.

This bakery is amazing! I traveled to Barcelona with my daughter who is a very sensitive celiac who was diagnosed at 7 years old. Because of this, she's never really had real pastries like a croissant. The experience was amazing for her and almost brought her to tears. Everything here is amazing and the staff is very friendly. There are signs in the shop that tell the patrons not to consume gluten containing items. My daughter is normally very nervous to eat in restaurants and we almost never go out because of her sensitivity. The control and care in Jansana let my daughter have an amazing experience. If you have celiac disease, you have got to go to this place. And for the staff at Jansasa: thank you so much for being such an important and memorable part of our trip to Spain. We will be back. But we wouldn't mind if you opened a store in the US. :)

One of the reasons I came to Barcelona for a little weekend away trip was because I'd seen a recommendation for Jansana Bakery online, my boyfriend and I are both coeliac and finding coeliac safe/100% gluten free options isn't always easy where I lIve in the UK. It's amazing coming to a place where I don't have to worry about cross contamination as a silent coeliac. My boyfriend and I both ordered two things each to try as it's been about a year for me since I've been able to eat good pastries since being diagnosed. I was super excited to be able to eat a croissant again and the croissant crema did not disappoint! It was absolutely delicious! My partner ordered the Palmer chocolate Leche and I ordered a pastry, that I'm not sure the name of, but was filled with and dipped either end in chocolate. Personally I found the prices reasonable. For quality pastries, with no risk of getting ill I'm more than willing to pay those prices! The staff were nice, if a little rushed off their feet as the bakery was packed with customers sat in and customers coming in to purchase. As it was packed we had to take our food away, but we found a nice little bench area a few blocks around the corner to sit and eat at. We went around 10am on a Friday. So I'd maybe come earlier or a bit later as it seemed to be a really rush then!

My favourite gluten free bakery in Barcelona. I recommend the apple pastry and the xuixos. All the pastry is excellent, nice and flaky and not cake like which you fill find in other bakeries. They also offer a wide range of patisserie style cakes which are excellent too. I visit every time I am in the city. A must visit!

What can I say... Jansana Gluten Free is a paradise for those who are celiac! I was truly impressed by the quality and variety of the products. I tried a plain brioche, a brioche with cream, and a chocolate and cream cake, all accompanied by an excellent cappuccino. Everything was simply delicious! The place is beautiful, well-kept, and welcoming, and the selection is truly endless: between desserts, brioche, cakes, and other specialties, it's really hard to choose because everything looks so good! A special thanks also goes to the girl at the counter, who was very kind, available, and very nice, ready to give recommendations with a smile. If you are celiac or gluten intolerant (but even if you are not!), you cannot miss this place. One of the best gluten-free experiences I have ever had!

The place is small, and we couldn’t find a seat but got takeout. If you are gluten-intolerant and come to Barcelona, you must visit this place!

It's always nice to come across a place like this: all gluten-free with a very inviting appearance. My daughter was very satisfied with the various products purchased. For anyone visiting Barcelona and wants to enjoy great gluten-free products...you can't miss it! P.S.: we arrived at 5 PM and many items were no longer available so... I recommend going there earlier!
