The restaurant offers only and exclusively 100% gluten-free dishes, making it perfect for those with celiac disease. It was my first time trying Japanese food. I had both chicken and fish ramen: both were excellent, with flavorful broth and noodles that had a good texture. I went there twice, for lunch and dinner. Prices are definitely reasonable, considering it is located in the center, just a 5-minute walk from the Sagrada Familia.

Apparently they use sugar instead of salt.. the teriyaki chicken was like a sticky candy and the steamed rice was sweet as something I can't describe. In the seaweed salad, there was a lot of lettuce but no seaweed. I went there for the 100% gluten-free option being celiac, but I regretted it bitterly. Terrible experience.

Japanese restaurant just a stone's throw from our hotel. Everything is of excellent quality, both the sushi and the ramen and the stir-fried noodles. The staff is very friendly, and the place is simple. Takeout is also available.

My partner and I were looking for a sushi place with good reviews, and without too many expectations, we found one that offered gluten-free options, considering my celiac disease. I can only say: SUBLIME. Everything on the menu is completely gluten-free, and ordering draft beer was a blast from the past, as it is usually only available in bottles (when there's any). The food quality is extremely high, the menu is à la carte, but the portions are generous and the price-quality ratio is very fair. The place is nice and welcoming, and the staff is very polite and kind. We will definitely return if we go back to Barcelona, and I really hope that something like this will pop up in Italy someday!

My partner and I tried this sushi restaurant after researching places that could offer gluten-free options. The search was very fruitful. The restaurant was not crowded despite it being a Saturday night, the waitress was very friendly and not intrusive. The quality of the food is high, above the average of similar places. The fish was super fresh and all dishes were strictly gluten-free. Even the mochi (huge compared to what I'm used to) was really well made. The bill was average. The restaurant is easily accessible by public transport: it is located right in front of the metro exit.

An excellent discovery! We were looking for sushi and found this, which fits perfectly with my gluten intolerance. A paradise for celiacs where I can order anything without checking the ingredients! The food is truly excellent and the fish is really very fresh. For my personal taste, I wouldn't have added chives to either the spicy sake uramaki or the vegetable yakisoba, which is why I gave 4 instead of 5 to the food. The staff is really super friendly and welcoming. The place is located right in front of the exit of the blue metro line, Verdaguer stop. Absolutely recommended!

I discovered Aruku thanks to a friend who is gluten intolerant and it was a wonderful surprise. The gluten-free Japanese food prepared there has nothing to envy to gluten dishes eaten in other restaurants. Friendly and fast service, dishes prepared with an eye to presentation. It is absolutely worth a visit.

Best sushi ever. Used to all you can eat in Italy and generally living in the north where there's not much REALLY fresh fish, I was very surprised. Found this little restaurant by chance, we were heading to dinner at another place but were captivated here. Freshest fish, really excellent quality. Price proportional to the goodness and truly excellent service. I wish I could bring this restaurant to Italy to have it always at hand.
