Had a really lovely evening at Côte Soho. We came in midweek and the atmosphere was great, calm, cosy, and not overly bright, which is something a lot of chain restaurants get wrong. It felt relaxed and genuinely pleasant to sit and chat. The food itself is exactly what you’d expect from Côte, very solid, classic brasserie dishes. Nothing groundbreaking, but tasty and comforting. I had the two-course set menu with the charcuterie to start, which was perfectly fine and very standard, followed by the shredded chicken salad, again simple, fresh, and hit the spot without trying to be anything fancy. What really made the experience was the service. Pete looked after us and was excellent, friendly, attentive, and very good at upselling without being pushy. My friend is dairy intolerant and Pete was great at suggesting suitable options and making the menu feel easy and accommodating. With all the discounts and offers applied, the bill came to around £45 for two people, which felt like a genuinely good deal for what we had. Definitely worth downloading the Côte app and booking through it, the deals and rewards make the experience even more appealing and honestly part of the fun. Would happily return, especially for a relaxed Soho dinner that doesn’t feel rushed or overwhelming.

Recently I dined two nights at Côte Soho. Eating out with a food allergy can be challenging (I’m celiac), but I have very good experiences at Côte. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about food allergies. The first night I enjoyed a beetroot apple salad with glutenfree bread as a starter and gnocchi with vegan pesto and cherry tomatoes as a main course. The second night I enjoyed the olives as a starter and the tempeh steak with fries and a green salad as a main. Côte is a guarantee for quality food and hospitality to me. I would definitely recommend to visit one of their restaurants for an amazing and a tasteful night out!

I savored the steak frites, cooked to absolute perfection—juicy, tender, and exactly to my liking, with crispy frites that were simply divine. My wife, who is gluten-free, enjoyed the smoked baked hake, which was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. The staff’s attentiveness truly elevated our visit; our waitress was a gem, kindly rushing our order to ensure we made our theatre show on time without feeling hurried. She also went above and beyond to accommodate my wife’s gluten-free needs, offering clear guidance and ensuring a worry-free meal. The food was outstanding, the service impeccable, and the central Soho location made it the ideal pre-theatre spot. Côte Soho is a must-visit, and we’ll be back for more!

During a recent outing in Soho with my children, we took in the festive Christmas lights, but soon found ourselves in search of a meal. Given my children's gluten intolerance and allergies, we were eager to find gluten-free dining options. While many restaurants advertise gluten-free menus, we quickly discovered that over 99% share kitchen space, leading to potential cross-contamination. However, we were pleased to find a few exceptions, one of which is Côte Brasserie. Côte Brasserie stands out with its dedicated kitchen for gluten and celiac-friendly dishes. We indulged in a selection of delectable starters and cocktails, and the starters were so irresistible that we forgot to take photos before they disappeared! For our main courses, we opted for chicken, a burger, and fish, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed by the whole table. Amazing place to eat while in Soho. We started with Gluten free salad with croutons & French onion soup both followed by Duck a l’orange, all beautiful. Good friendly and professional service from the minute we arrived, slightly noisy drinks delivery being bumped down the restaurant stairs but generally really good!

I visited as part of my bachelorette night and had such a lovely welcome. On discovering it was my hen do, the restaurant gave us a bottle of champagne, which was such a lovely touch. I have a few unusual allergies and am sensitive to gluten but have never had a problem at a Côte. It was no different at this chain. The staff were beyond attentive, especially a guy called Adrian who double checked my allergies at each course to ensure the chef gave me nothing I couldn’t have. Two of my friends also can’t have gluten, one of which can’t have dairy either, and they both also loved how many choices they had and the food they chose. It’s so nice to have a meal out where you don’t feel excluded due to your dietary restrictions, but they staff really helped make the night with their positive attitude and attentiveness.

We have someone with celiac (severe gluten intolerance) in our party. We told the server and he assured us that they would take care. We ordered the tuna GF and they served it with a gluten free flag to mark it. However, the dish had gluten croutons and the member of our party was glutenized, which is very serious. We know it was a mistake, but for anyone with food allergies, we can't recommend.

Great service, great food. Wanted a quick place to stop before seeing a show at the apollo theatre. Only a five minute walk away. Im gluten free so it can be tricky to find a good place to meet my requirements. Would definitely recommend. There are many different sites from this chain scattered all over London too.

In general, the food was great and the waitress who took my order was nice and helpful. However, the service here was really, really slow. Took half an hour to get the food served. Worse part is, I had to eat it without my tea. I tried to be understanding, I thought, “maybe they are too busy, maybe just give them a little bit more time”. Unfortunately, until I fished my plate, I didn’t get the tea. When I asked the waitress behind the bar about my tea, she looked me with a question mark on her face and repeated “YOUR TEA?”, as if I was making up something. She told me she would make the tea for me after this unpleasant conversation, yet, 10 minuets passed I still got nothing. I watched her making tea and coffee for other customers who came way later than I did. I considered myself as a patient customer and most of the time I try to avoid giving negative feedback, however this is very intolerable. Won’t come again.
