The food was really good. I enjoyed a gf pepperoni pizza too and having tried quite a few gf pizzas (I am not gf but went gf so my coeliac son could try mine) this one was excellent - a really delicious base with crisped edges, a good amount of cheese and tomato topping and generous pepperoni pieces! We also had the gf brownie which was soft, rich and chocolatey! A really good family treat out - thank you. The attentiveness of staff to my son's needs around cross contact was excellent and I felt my confidence in Pizza Express restored (after a bad experience at a Norwich branch). Staff had very good knowledge about cross contact and really robust processes in place not only in the kitchen but in serving too - which is essential to avoid cross contact via hands, cutlery, menu, plates etc. I would go back to this branch. My son had no troubles after the meal.

I am celiac and react to traces / cross contamination from gluten. I had a pizza and a glass of wine and had no reaction. The staff were reassuring and careful with cross contamination. GF pizza was delicious. Thankyou for catering for celiacs.

Pizza Express has so many gluten free items and solid handling procedures, it makes for a safe option when traveling. I’ve been to several locations and the Highgate restaurant was remarkable for the freshness and quality of the food!

We ordered through uber eats and the pizza was still warm when delivered. I especially liked how you could change the pizza base to gluten free at no additional cost. Vegan options are also available!

I normally do not eat in chain restaurants, but I had a really lovely evening here with fantastic gluten free Dough Balls and gluten free Pizza, lovely service and amazing live music (sing-songwriter Tanya Cristina). I will definitely come again!
