My dad is a coeliac. Bates at 121 was the perfect place for me to treat him to a father's day meal. A menu designed for a coeliac. We received a warm welcome. The decor is trendy and promotes a warm environment. The food is delightful and the service equally so. My dad and I enjoyed the meal very much and will be recommending to others. The restaurant is located near the park safe car park in the cathedral quarter of Derby.

Excellent gluten free food available, great choice. I had pork belly with roast vegetables and it was superb. Creme Brulee with raspberry sorbet (home made) was heaven too. Virtually everything is gluten free so coeliacs can relax and enjoy their dining experience. Highly recommended (I say that reluctantly as I'd like to keep it secret 😊 it's that good).
