We went there because of the positive review. Our daughter has celiac disease and was really looking forward to the waffle :) She was not disappointed! The coffee is also very good. We want to recommend this small and lovely café and will definitely come back on our next visit to Amsterdam.

I had the loveliest breakfast in this place. The classic waffle was light and fluffy; the fruit was very fresh. The man who worked there was really friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. They also have vegan and gluten free options for waffles with a huge variety of toppings. There was something for everyone 😊

The waffles are fine and it’s great that there’s gluten-free options, but for Amsterdam standards it’s a tad pricey for what you get, service and food wise. Toppings were given sparingly, not resembling the pictures I see here. The ladies working there were nice, but they were watching things on their phone while working and one of them even had their earbuds in. That doesn’t really give a nice ambiance.

I am gluten free and was staying at a nearby hostel I’m from Canada so was always on the hunt to find some good gluten free meals so I decided to try this out one afternoon and was extremely pleased was a very cute little atmosphere very relaxed, staff were pleasant I had the gluten free waffle with or she juice and it was absolutely incredible would totally go often if I lived in Amsterdam! Thank you

My gluten- free waffle with jam and yoghurt was very very tasty. They improved the recipe since I was here last time - previously it was also good, but with a bit of nutty flavour, but now the taste is perfectly balanced. Masala chai was also very good. I sincerely recommend the place.

Great gluten (and vegan) waffles with very generous toppings. They are aware of cross contamination and make the gluten free waffles in a specific waffle iron (if you mention you have celiac). I am quite sensitive celiac and had no bad reactions. Service was quite fast and friendly staff.

Very suitable for celiacs! Glutenfree waffles were fluffy and tasty and didn't cost more than the others. You might need to bring a little extra time, just because the waffles are fresh and take a little while. At first I thought the prices for the extras were a bit much, but they are very generous with the toppings! Me and a friend both had a waffle and a drink and then decided to share another waffle. So even though it was a little expensive for me, I was very satisfied.

I went here as they had gluten free waffles. And honestly they were so good and moist. I do wish i got more jam as it was dry with the nuts and blueberries. My favourite thing was the tea Nutty dream. You have to try it if you like cinnamon teas. Honestly 10/10 will be back for sure. The place is so cosy and the guy who was working there was very nice.

Very delicious waffles. You get to choose 2 toppings for each waffle. I got a vegan waffle, and my husband a gluten free one. Both were very good. You order at the counter and seat yourself.

Great waffles 😍 Been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got the chance to try them and the waffles were sooo good. Very generous portion, lots of toppings to choose from which are also served generously with your waffles. I also 100% recommend the fake bacon and eggs, so crunchy and savoury. The staff is super nice, smiling at you from the moment you walk in and very helpful 😊 Amazing that they have gluten free as well as vegan options. Will come again soon!

A truly magical place to try out waffles. From the time you walk in to the time you leave (reluctantly) you feel welcomed and taken care of by the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. A hidden gem in Amsterdam, and oasis from the busy city and a place to really unwind and relax in the tranquil energy of Heart Garden. I was only in Amsterdam for 5 days and I visited 3 times. They serve vegan and gluten free and lots of fresh fruit options. Highly recommend when in Amsterdam.

A cozy, peaceful Waffle shop with a wide selection of drinks, smoothies, coffees & teas alongside their signature (and very extensive) custom waffle menu. Both savory and sweet options available, including gluten free and vegan as well. There are nearly infinite combinations of waffle toppings. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and there is plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor, available. Great for a quiet brunch on the weekend, away from the crowded streets of centrum. Take a walk doen Czaar Peterstraat if you’ve never visited this part of town - lots of fun specialty shops and friendly shopkeepers.

These are by far the most delicious waffles I've ever had in my whole life! They are soft inside and crunchy on the outside with a nice cinnamon aroma. You can choose from three kind of waffle (classic, vegan, gluten-free, all for 7.95€) and cover them with whichever toppings you prefer (from 0.99€ to 2.99€ per topping). If you are in the neighborhood give them a go, they're really worth the stop. Ps: there are tons of vegan options (try the vegan whipped cream!) 🌱

The place is located on a quiet street, almost hard to spot. As soon as you walk in, you find yourself in a cozy environment with cool furniture, cheerful colors and nice staff. The idea of the place is to start by choosing the type of waffle you want ( classic, vegan, gluten-free) and then add the topping you fancy. Our end result was huge, it kept us fed for the whole day. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey .

A friendly and fun oasis, 'Heart- Garden' was a great experience! We really enjoyed the waffles (also gluten-free option) and the super tasty Indian coffee. And the big surprise was the smoothie, not only looked amazing but also smooth and creamy for our vegan 'Elsa' and the healthy deep purple 'purpelicious' Be aware, bright colors! Staff was very friendly and serviceable. Loved the bright atmosphere, nice music, lots of plants, possible to sit outside too... And for those interested in spirituality there are nice books for sale and free meditation classes are offered on a regular basis. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town!
