The hotel is aesthetically pleasing. The welcome is good. The games inside are nice but suitable for only a few children at a time. The baby pool is tiny; with three children, space is already limited. The nearby track has no activities for children who cannot or do not want to ski. The outdoor games, even on sunny days, were not fully usable, and some were disassembled. Now, to the truly painful notes for us: the dining service. Let me preface that meals are served in a hall where you have to get everything yourself, from glasses to water, to each dish; so with small kids, you’re constantly wandering around the dining room bringing things to your table by hand, as there isn’t even a tray or cart available. What is left at the open buffet doesn’t have any signs with ingredients, so if you have intolerances or just don’t like a certain ingredient, it’s highly likely that you will leave food wasted. Trying to ask waiters for details is an epic task because they are always super busy. Dinner ends at 20:00, and by 19:50, they already remove everything from the buffet. On the first night, we came in at 19:30 and, between running around to get glasses, water, bread, and plates, we had dinner with just one course on the go. Indecent. We requested a specific menu for lactose-intolerant for our daughter and, on their advice, paid extra for meal preparation. The waiters are so busy that even asking for a menu to choose the next day's dishes or bringing specific lactose-free dishes turned into yet another pointless search around the room for someone to help us. The dishes to choose from, apart from the usual off-menu pasta with butter, sauce, or ragù, were those intended for the adults’ menu in terms of type and quantity, which often went to waste both because it was objectively excessive for a small child and because they were perhaps too elaborate for her. Once they literally sent us to grab things from the buffet for the child because "it’s the same, and we take it from there." So why do we have to pay an extra fee, as you suggested, without the assurance of no contamination?! At breakfast, it was only after two days that lactose-free yogurt arrived, and once they brought us an expired one! We were told that it was not possible to prepare crepes or pancakes with lactose-free or plant-based milk for the child at breakfast, even though on some mornings they made them with cow’s milk for guests and had lactose-free and plant-based milk available. My three-year-old daughter ate milk or yogurt and granola cereals or bread and jam for a week. Never seen anything different and suitable for her. In a hotel like that, I shouldn’t have to ask every day for something different when it was clear at the time of booking what our daughter’s dietary issue was, and, in fact, we were paying for a service that implied additional care! The cleaning of the room is done upon request and it’s the first place where, if you leave glasses in the sink, you’ll find them there even after cleaning. The mini and baby club has different start times for activities for younger and older children, so, having two kids of close ages but who needed to attend different groups, we found ourselves never leaving them, except for an hour before dinner, because the activity schedules didn’t match. Despite complaints both during the stay and in the evaluation survey regarding service shortfalls, we never received an apology. For the amount paid during the low season, it’s absolutely not worth it. What you see on social media is the result of influencer marketing. The reality is different.
