Always thankful for. Gluten free meal option and this place has quite a few gluten free items clearly indicated on the menu. Love the vibe, with great ambiance, retro photos on the walls and classic rock playing. It is lively and friendly. It’s also really nice to get a decent pizza. It’s a little tricky to find the first time since it’s in a business building that doesn’t look like it would house it but right up the escalator you will find some good food and Top Gun may even be playing on the screen. The photo is the only piece of pizza that survived.

We were attracted to Pizzakaya because they are highly regarded in the celiac community, but the pizza and atmosphere were both stellar. I love a restaurant where people are eating great food and having a good time. We saw families, couples, and friend groups. We ordered an entire pizza each and the leftovers were carefully wrapped and sent home with us. We only had pop to drink, but the beer selection was impressive, including a gluten free variety.

We dined at this restaurant yesterday. We made a reservation for this restaurant months in advance, in preparation for our trip to Japan. I'm glad we made the reservation as the restaurant was full from walk-ins and reservations, and they had apparently stopped takeout orders for some time. Despite being a few minutes late for our reservation our table still hadn't been cleared but was cleaned shortly after arrival. The vibes of the restaurant are relaxed and has an American feel to it. Orders are placed through a QR code. Everything was made fresh to order and came out piping hot. The chips were decent and the sauces were good. The wing sampler plate was great and all the wings were crisp and cooked well. The flavours of the wings were generic but good. The honey soy wasn't too sweet which was nice, the "Bangkok" wings were just sweet chilli sauce, and the buffalo wings were a little spicy and acidic. The pizzas were good. My partner enjoyed his detroit style pepperoni pizza - the dough was crisp and fluffy. I ordered the gluten free buffalo chicken pizza. The toppings were good but the gluten free base was fairly average. However, was a delight given Japan isn't the most gluten free friendly place. It was a decent amount of food for two people and we both ended up taking half our pizzas home. We're thinking about coming back here after new years, before we leave Tokyo.
