This is such a special restaurant and experience. Amazing omakase, gorgeous and calm ambiance, and such kind and thoughtful service. It was such a treat to find superb sushi that could be made gluten free/celiac safe. Having eaten at several Michelin starred restaurants, this felt like the same level of food quality and presentation, but with kinder and less pretentious service. If I come back to Tokyo, I will definitely be sure to eat here again. Also it is on the fourth floor in case you are lost like we were while arriving!

I brought my wife here for her birthday yesterday and we had such a wonderful time! I had an issue when I first booked online, but we quickly got it resolved and they were very helpful to make sure I was still able to make it for her birthday. We started at 5:30pm and there was one other couple with us at the counter. Masatomo-san and his wife Aiko-san were the nicest people and really made the experience special along with the amazing food and drink (seriously delicious sushi and lots of unique dishes). I've been to quite a few sushi restaurants in Nishiazabu, and Tokyo in general and they were all very good, but the amazing service and hospitality we received here took it to another level and I can't recommend it enough! The other guests were so nice as well and everyone was really enjoying themselves. Our reservation was over at 7:50pm (another couple arrived to take our seats) but they weren't ready for us to leave yet, so they asked us to move to the little standing bar where we rejoined the first couple that was there when we arrived. Food kept coming, my wife got a few extras for her birthday and she was so happy! We had a great time hanging out with our new friends and talking with Aiko-san (she's very passionate about helping those with gluten related issues)! We ended up leaving at 9pm because we had another engagement, but we certainly felt welcome to stay longer if we could. If you're looking for an amazing sushi dining experience, just do yourself a favor and come here, seriously like the other review said it's absolutely one of the best sushi spots in Tokyo! We'll be back for sure...arigatogozaimashita!!! Stay Super Genki :)

Found Masamatomo Korin through his highly rated Google reviews and wow what an incredible meal we've had. It's a small and very intimate venue but this really adds to the authenticity of the experience. Upon arrival chef Masatomo welcomed us with a great smile and from there it was all the way to heaven with all the omakase delights. While his English might not be perfect, he made sure to explain each serving to us and he took great care of my wife's gluten intolerance, using a different sauce so she could enjoy each course with us. It's clear to see why this restaurant has so many good reviews. The food was fantastic in all the ways and the chef is such a kind hearted and welcoming person. If you're looking for a high end Omakase, look no further. You will not regret your booking. I think it's only a matter of time until he is fully booked for months in advance. I hope to come back again when we are in Japan next time. 素晴らしい料理をありがとう
