If you’re gluten free (or even not!) you must give this place a visit when you’re in Kyoto. As a celiac- this was the most exciting part of my trip so far. So yummy to eat, soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside. I got the ham, egg & cheese + the custard. Both were incredible and I’d highly recommend either. The staff are also so kind and sweet. You’ll need to walk down a little alley way to find it- see the video attached.

Delicious! I ordered the custard and soft serve. It was a perfect mid-afternoon snack. It was not too sweet and was a warm contrast to a rainy day. I highly recommend for anyone who eats gluten free or just loves a tasty treat! In a hidden alley but they do have a small sign on the street

I found this place as I was looking for gluten free taiyaki. I ordered the sausage and egg, sweet potato and custard taiyaki, they were more than exquisite, they were that good that I also took one more to go. I am very happy as a celiac to had the chance to eat here (also my not celiac partner was very happy, best taiyaki he tried so far). The service was awesome as well.
