Such a memorable and special meal! Every bite was delicious. I have celiac and was able to book a reservation when they keep the whole kitchen gluten free. The wagyu was melty and cooked perfectly. The couple that owns the restaurant were extremely friendly and made the experience very fun by teaching us Japanese words and explaining each dish in the set menu. I’d highly recommend anyone (especially someone who is gluten free) to eat here

Although not a dedicated Gluten Free establishment they offer a 5.00pm slot at the beginning of their service purely for Glyen free clients only. Booking is not simple but worth the effort as they are super responsive. We missed out on our first request for a spot but got in on a late cancellation on a subsequent evening. This place only has space for about 10 people and hence the atmosphere is close and you get very personal service from the hosts who are a couple that have been doing this for nearly 30 years. We had a fabulous meal and would recommend.

Our 3rd visit and this place is still as lovely and cozy. They even remember where we sat during our previous visit. Service was attentive and warm. Hideki and Naoko tried their best to cater for our food intolerance and that was very kind. Though their wagyu is famous for being premium, I think the grilled fish is perfection. Not a minute overcooked, not a minute undercooked. Just simply perfect I can have it everyday!

If I could only ever eat at one restaurant again, it would be this one – without a doubt. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth that it felt more like visiting close friends than dining out. Hideki & Naoko pour their hearts into everything they do, and you can feel it in every detail. Each dish was a masterpiece – beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious. They even offer gluten-free options and happily adapt to individual requests, which made the experience even more special for me. I tried things I would normally avoid, and every single bite blew me away. An unforgettable experience — amazing food, wonderful people, and a place I can’t wait to return to.
