A total vibe - everything I ate was just incredible. From the oden to the katsu to the canele. Leaving stuffed and so happy, one of my favorite meals in Japan. Especially with celiac, such a special dinner. Cannot recommend more!!

Food was amazing and everything is gluten free! We got a few dishes to share and it’s definitely on the pricier side but worth it to try dishes that are hard to find elsewhere gluten free. The server was very kind and spoke English (though we were trying to speak Japanese lol) I would come back here for sure. Only downside was it was very quiet, empty the whole time we were there. Obviously not the fault of the restaurant plus we went early. I’m sure the atmosphere is better later in the evening.

Grabbed dinner here one night and enjoyed ourselves. We got the gluten free fried pork cutlet, fried chicken, and pickles. In a nice location right by the river!

Very prepared for gluten free meals, here we ate the best fried chicken EVER! All the plates tried were completely gluten-free. We did not like the mochi very much...pretty particular and strong taste. A very nice position and very chic as place. Made not only for couples but also family with older kids, like above 7-8y old. The entrance is not easy to find, at the higher floor. Thank you for preparing these goodies for us coeliacs! We are very happy to be able to taste it! 😄

Delicious, elegant, and allergen friendly. I have eaten here twice now, and supremely enjoyed having such tasty, crispy gluten-free pork cutlets. I also ordered the Darjeeling Cooler cocktail the second time- very sweet, but refreshing and delicious. The ambience is both refined and relaxing. Beautiful wood carvings all around. Bonus: there is a book about Pyramids at the end of the bar- certainly an interesting read, if you are so inclined. From what I understand, it was written by a regular. It was fun interacting with the staff who noticed that I had picked it up. Overall, I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Kyoto- particularly if you are gluten-free or vegan.
