Absolutely amazing! I am gluten free and did some research for places that are gluten free friendly and stumbled upon this place as a recommendation and it did not disappoint. I’m very happy that I was able to experience the soufflé pancakes that everyone talks about on social media when traveling to Japan as a food lover. The ambiance is very modern, clean and cute. We got the seasonal sakura pancakes (all are made with rice flour). The flavor was very subtle, not overpowering. It came with a honey syrup and two small scoops of matcha and sakura ice cream on the side. The presentation was beautiful. My husband was a bit grumpy at first about the wait and said it was worth it and was very happy. If you need food instantly be prepared, it does take 30 minutes, and you have to order a drink with your meal so be prepared to spend about $15 USD per person or about 2,200 yen each. Worth it though. For context, sakura is cherry blossom.

We discovered this place via a coeliacs blog on their visit to Kyoto. This place had excellence at its core from service to produce. The windowed kitchen allows you to see the chefs working, what a treat. This is not in the middle of the busy Tourist area so no dramatics, just classy service and great produce, especially for people requiring a gluten free diet. We opted for the Fuffy pancakes which were amazing, the cheesecake and a selection of bean paste tasters. Unusual but enjoyable. Definitely worth going out of your way.

A very cute cafe with delicious gluten free sweets. Pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The gluten free beers are delicious too! You can tell they put a lot of care into their foods.
