Adorable little 100% gluten free bakery tucked away in Matsuyama. The owner was so friendly and spoke English well. I tried two flavours of donut, some focaccia and a biscuit fresh from the oven. Everything was amazing! If you’re in Matsuyama and need gluten free options you have to stop here!!

What a total treasure to find in the quiet side-streets of Matsuyama. Deciding to take a quiet route towards Matusyama Castle I happened upon Mariko-san’s magical little gluten-free bakery and it was genuinely one of my favourite memories of this city. Mariko-san’s baking is exquisite; I had cinnamon rolls, pistachio rings and chocolate donuts. All wonderful. And the perfectly arranged, tiny little space it occupies is just a charm. A real hidden gem. Whether you have gluten considerations or not, this is a fabulous little bakery so, do have a more leisurely stroll around the streets of Matsuyama. You can visit Oyatsu Haru - and have a chat with smiling owner Mariko-san :)
