Vegan and gluten free dinner two nights in a row! The first night was better because I had the lettuce salad, potato salad, and the GF curry (paid an extra yen to have the gluten free version). It was so good that I went back a second night. On that visit, I ordered the lettuce salad again (so good), the French fries (I would not get these again as they had no dipping sauce and felt heavy in my stomach), and the sushi (which I would not recommend— visually appealing, but not great tasting). The last thing I ordered was the gluten free tempura vegetable dish, which was good, but I preferred the GF curry over the tempura. Overall, the first night (salad and curry) made this place earn a 5 star review. Many thanks for the safe and delicious place to eat! FYI - My favorite place to see in the area was Miyajima Island — there is a direct boat there and back under Cafe Ponte near Peace Memorial Park. Don’t miss it!
