Extreme attention to gluten-free options, partly because the owner's daughter (on the staff) is celiac. The pizza dough is thin and good, not among the best I've tasted, but the ingredients are of excellent quality. I particularly appreciated the tomato sauce and buffalo mozzarella on the Margherita. The pistachio cream dessert was also good, and I really appreciated the presence of gluten-free lasagna cut small for children. Excellent service and hospitality in the venue, with original decor.

More than "Lunico" THE ONLY ONE!! On Lake Garda, a celiac suffers from hunger!! Contamination is not remotely considered by most local places... while on vacation by the lake one evening, we called more than 15 places (restaurants-pizzerias) that claimed to provide gluten-free dishes, but when I asked if the pizza was cooked in a separate oven, I was told "no." Some who felt particularly knowledgeable about the subject told me that simply placing a tray with high edges on the upper shelf was sufficient. I must disagree... this method might be "acceptable" for a lasagna, but certainly not for a pizza that is sprinkled with flour and "thrown" into the oven, where the hot air goes up, taking everything else with it. Therefore, after such responses regarding the pizza (I can’t imagine the contamination on meat or fish), we dismissed all until we happened to find LUNICO!!! Fancy meat and fish dishes almost all, if not all, available gluten-free, amazing pizza cooked in a "DEDICATED OVEN". Courteous and highly trained staff (they perfectly understand the condition since the owner's daughter, who is also very nice, is celiac). Everything we ordered was exquisite, the only regret was discovering it at the end of our stay and not being able to return... but next year we will surely be regular customers. A true oasis in the DESERT.

super prepared on the topic of celiac disease. they have separate kitchens and are well aware of the contamination issue. practically the entire menu is also available in a gluten-free version. all of this with a lake view, priceless.
