Great place! Dining room filled with Italians, no tourists with the exception of us. Great local food. One of the best gluten free pizzas my wife ever had. For appetisers, main courses and deserts there are also many gluten free options. Very friendly staff. Lovely outside area and terrace next to a little stream. Very much worth the beautiful drive up the hill. Would highly recommend.

The owners are exquisite and knowledgeable people. We ate really well. I am celiac and was completely satisfied. Truly an excellent restaurant. The tiramisu is my husband's and therefore not gluten-free. The rest of the photos are the really delicious gluten-free dishes :)

We returned to the hills of Montecatini to try the historic restaurant LA MARGHERITA. A venue that stands out for its genuineness and the flavors of the territory. Inside, there are two spacious rooms where the stone walls, beams, wooden ceiling, and unique furnishings create a rustic yet country atmosphere. The dishes are excellent, honoring true Tuscan home cooking, with specialties like game such as hare, wild boar, and roe deer. It's worth noting that gluten-free menus are also available. We tasted: Two game appetizers, consisting of venison and wild boar ham and salami, pickled vegetables, and fettunta. Two braised roe deer dishes. Two side dishes. Water, wine, and dessert.
