Here at Freefood, a paradise for celiacs... fantastic food (all gluten-free), a huge selection, and friendly and helpful staff... the cherry on top is that it's affiliated with ASL, so for many dishes, they accept meal vouchers... absolutely worth trying!

By now it has become my point of reference, both when I want to buy artisanal products prepared by them (everything from sweet to savory… they even make pastries!), and when I want to buy raw materials to make some sweets or other things myself. The place is very spacious, well set up, with a wide selection of fresh and packaged products. The staff is polite and friendly. In the room, there are some small tables where you can have a snack. I definitely recommend it.

Best store for gluten-free fresh products in the Cagliari area! The bread is excellent, with a flavor that is as close as possible to "normal" bread, but the rest of the products are also delicious, especially made with flours free of the endless additives usually found in every gluten-free product. Additionally, the staff is super friendly and always available for any needs... highly recommend to everyone!!!

I went for breakfast here with a friend. It's a place suitable for celiacs (and not), there are all gluten-free foods and they are also very good. I had some really tasty cookies with hazelnuts and they also serve herbal teas. The girls at the counter are very nice, as well as the people at the till.

A blessing for all celiacs in Cagliari and surroundings. Excellent quality in every department from breakfast to desserts, including bread and cooked products. Their civraxiu, in the photo, is one of the best gluten-free baked goods available (available on Tuesdays and Fridays).

Great store for celiacs, but I must unfortunately report an incident. On Saturday morning, I went to buy pastries, and despite the tongs placed on the counter, the young lady used her hands. Okay, the pastries have a paper base, but her nails were a few centimeters long; either you wear gloves or you use the tongs. I also wanted to buy some bread but I refrained because another young lady, also without gloves and with very long nails, served the bread barehanded. Honestly, I’m sorry, but I find it absurd that in 2025, in the food sector, hygiene regulations are not being followed. I hope to not see such scenes again, especially in a great store like Freefood. A gluten-free paradise! I had breakfast with a hazelnut milk cappuccino and a delicious pastry filled with cream and chocolate chips. At the counter, there are also various fresh products from the Sardinian tradition, such as pardule and panadine. Fresh bread and frozen ravioli are available (I bought the culurgiones, but I haven't tried them yet). Some shelves with packaged products, including oriental foods and freeze-dried noodles. The girls at the counter were very kind, smiling and patient even when I couldn't decide what to buy among such a wide selection. Thank you! 😊

Gluten-free shop and artisan workshop. Fresh sweet and savory counter, with delicious products and a wide selection. Frozen food and packaged goods in the other part of the store. Thank you, because we can finally find sweets, small pizzas, and much more easily. Delicious gluten-free food exists; you just have to find the right place. Extremely kind staff!

Since I first went there about a month ago, I can't do without it anymore. Quality at a great price for gluten-free, incredibly fresh and delicious food, highly recommended. I hope they soon add more variety on the shelves so I can download the recipe from them. 5 well-deserved stars.

It is a paradise for celiacs and not only!!! It has a vast assortment of fresh and long-lasting food of excellent quality, fresh good pastry products, and really excellent freshly baked bread products. It has many products for both celiacs and lactose intolerant individuals. The place is spacious, clean, and well organized; it is a bit off the beaten path and not very advertised even on the same street.

After all the positive reviews, I decided to try their products, and what can I say... They are spectacular. Some sweets brought me back 20 years when I was not yet gluten intolerant. But then the beauty of seeing such an assortment and being able to choose without limits (due to gluten intolerance) is priceless. I highly recommend going to taste their delicacies; you won't be disappointed.

A wide and new store dedicated to those who cannot consume gluten, located on Viale Monastir, right at the entrance of the city. There is also a laboratory that bakes high-quality baked goods and leavened products, integrated within the store. It is indeed possible to purchase fresh bread, focaccias, pizzas, and many different types of pastry products, from shortcrusts to doughs, including cakes. Packaged ravioli and culurgiones are also available, along with much more... There are countless shelf references from the most famous brands on the market. The staff present in the store are very kind and are available to offer customers any clarifications they may need.
