Man.Gia is an informal venue in the center of Cagliari, known for its gluten-free and lactose-free pizzas, accompanied by craft beers. Dessert options like Sacher cake and grandma's cake are highly appreciated. A great choice for those seeking quality and taste.

This is the best gluten-free pizza ever. Every time I return to Cagliari, I make sure to go, and it never fails to impress.

I went twice a year apart and the pizza remains impeccable. The best gluten-free pizza I've ever had. Confirmed by friends who are not celiac.

Absolutely excellent pizza and everything is absolutely gluten-free

Very good dough, pay attention not only to gluten-free, but also to lactose-free and yeast-free. All doughs and products are gluten-free.

If you’re looking for a pizzeria 🍕 where taste, hospitality, and food safety go hand in hand, Man.Gia on Via Ottone Bacaredda 34 is a true gem. Here are the strong points I suggest: ✅ Strengths 1. 100% gluten-free: All pizzas, desserts, and many menu options are strictly gluten-free (in some cases also lactose-free). This makes it an excellent choice not only for those with intolerances but also for those who want to try something different. 2. Quality of the dough: Many customers describe it as "light dough," "well-leavened," "thin with a thick crust" but balanced: despite the toppings, it remains digestible. 3. Refined ingredients and flavors: Fresh ingredients, appreciated desserts (e.g. grandmother's cake, pistachio cheesecake, Sacher) and a curated assortment even in gluten-free beers. 4. Cozy atmosphere and kind staff: The venue is described as informal yet warm, with attentive and friendly staff ready to make everyone feel comfortable, especially those with specific dietary needs. 5. Reasonable quality/price ratio: It's not a low-cost pizzeria, but many customers believe that the quality, variety, service, and safety are worth the price. Price range generally between ~€8 and ~€19 depending on choices. 🔍 But for you reading my review, I also have some interesting curiosities: • Man.Gia is not just a pizzeria: it also includes highly appreciated desserts and artisanal beers (including gluten-free) on its menu. • It has become a reference point for celiac sufferers in the city: for many, it’s “a blessing” to be able to eat without worrying about contamination. • There’s a certain excitement among customers when they talk about the dough: it's often described as “soft,” “moist,” and “different from other gluten-free dough” — a sign that they have really mastered the techniques. • The venue has a spartan decor, but this is offset by the familiar atmosphere and the fact that the focus is all on food and quality. ⚠️ Small “notes in the margin” • On very busy evenings, service can be a bit slower, given that everything is prepared fresh and with care. • Being a specialized venue (gluten-free), prices can be slightly higher compared to traditional pizzerias, but as mentioned, many customers feel it’s worth it. 🌟 …In conclusion, a brief summary can say that: Man.Gia is a place I highly recommend if you want to enjoy a delicious pizza, with light dough and quality ingredients, in a welcoming and safe environment. Perfect for both those with intolerances and those who love good food, without frills but with a lot of heart. 🍕 💓 P.S: I always recommend reserving a couple of hours before the venue opens or a few days in advance! 📞

🍕 Man.Gia is a great example that it’s not about how the place looks (a bit old, not perfectly maintained), or what’s inside (like an old bicycle), but about who comes there. 🌾 When people want gluten-free pizza — and it’s this good — the restaurant will always be full. 🔥 They don’t make two versions, just one gluten-free pizza, and even those who don’t need it loved it. 😋 I did too — it was amazing! 🍺 They even had gluten-free beer on tap. 💧 I liked that water was included in the couvert. 🍷 I also tried some local wine. 🧀 I didn’t ask for vegan cheese, but the marinara pizza was excellent even without it. ❗ What surprised me was that soy was listed as allergen number 5 instead of 6 — they have their own allergen system. 👍 Fortunately, soy is present only in traces, so the pizza doesn’t actually contain it. 😊 The staff was very friendly.

Delicious gluten-free pizza! The dough was soft, light, and the ingredients were of excellent quality. We also tried the dessert, which we were very satisfied with. Highly recommended! The only downside: the prices are indeed a bit high for pizzas, with an average of 18 euros.

All, and I mean ALL, underlining ALL the gluten-free pizzas. The dough has never been this soft and delicious. The best gluten-free pizza I've had so far. Congratulations 👏

All, and I mean ALL, underline ALL the gluten-free pizzas. The dough has never been seen so soft and tasty. The best gluten-free pizza I have eaten so far. Congratulations 👏

I am not celiac, but part of my family must follow a gluten-free diet as medical therapy. Finding a place that allows you to enjoy a convivial moment like a dinner with pizza has been really wonderful. The pizza is exquisite, well-made, and of high quality. Furthermore, the prices are in line with other pizzerias in Cagliari, which is not at all taken for granted considering that gluten-free products usually have much higher prices. A place I happily recommend!

100% gluten-free. Very good pizza and delicious sweets. Prices are definitely above average for a pizza and a small place.
5
pizza and amazing desserts!

The best gluten-free pizza in the world😍😍 I have tried it in various restaurants, in different regions, but this one is divine. I’m planning mini vacations to travel all across Sardinia just to eat here. Highly recommended!! PS everyone is very kind and the background music is perfect ❤️

We were in Cagliari for only 3 days and ate here twice. The restaurant is 100% gluten free and celiac safe—yes, you can finally enjoy a wood-fired pizza baked directly on the stone with no cross contamination risk. The texture, mouth feel, flavor and density were indistinguishable from non gf pizza crust(according to my gluten eating The service was friendly, and the pizzas came out fast. The desserts are light with decadent flavor. I will come back to Cagliari just to eat here again and try more flavors!!! The gf beer on tap was 10/10. Reasonably priced.

I love this pizzeria! There is a wide variety of pizzas, all delicious, gluten-free and lactose-free. The desserts are also very good.

All the gluten-free pizzas and desserts have a dough that surpasses many wheat pizza doughs. Exceptional. Then the toppings are of excellent quality and abundant. It is definitely the reference pizza. I have only eaten such a well-made dough in another place in Romagna. Compliments, both those with celiac disease and those without are satisfied. And thank you.

the best!!

All the pizzas are gluten-free. The best dough I've ever eaten so far. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality. The price is a bit high (prices range from €8 to €19) although it is true that there is no cover charge. The website is outdated so they no longer do the restaurant part, but it is only a pizzeria, also for takeout.

I ate one of the most delicious gluten-free pizzas since I discovered my intolerance. The staff was helpful and kind. Maybe the prices were a bit high, but quality comes at a cost. Recommended.
5
One of the first 100% gluten free restaurants in Italy since 2011 this place is a must go for anyone who wants top quality gluten free and lactose free ingredients. This place is a pizza only restaurant. The pizza here resembles the Neapolitan style pizza and it is very good and tasty. Beers are of course gluten free. Since this place is usually full, reservation is recommended.
5
Really great pizzas! Everything is gluten-free and lactose-free (including desserts), impossible to have cross-contamination! Very friendly staff

A super central and easily accessible location, a completely gluten-free and lactose-free menu. The best gluten-free pizza ever (if you didn't know, you would never realize you were eating a gluten-free product), even the beers and desserts are gluten-free and lactose-free. The environment is a bit small but has a very welcoming atmosphere. On weekends, you might have to wait a bit to get seated (usually no more than 10/15 minutes), waiting times for food are average, and the staff is smiling and helpful. It's definitely worth it!
5
A nice and cozy place, although a bit small... it offers a wide selection of gluten-free pizzas and gluten-free beers, as well as desserts. Highly recommended for people with celiac disease primarily, but also for others. The pizzas are excellent. It is always advisable to make a reservation as it is difficult to find a spot without one. Top place in all of Cagliari and the province.

We booked here one evening in September. The place is small, so I recommend making a reservation a few days in advance. The tables are very small, but despite that, the service is fast, punctual, and kind. There is only one type of dough available, but it is gluten-free for everyone. Celiacs will find it very suitable here, especially as they will be pleased with the taste because it is truly a delicious pizza. They also offer lactose-free options! The ingredients are of high quality, including typical Sardinian ones, and you can find flavors that are hard to come by elsewhere. There are also types with a stuffed crust! The pizza can be ordered in sizes M, L, or XL. The L size corresponds to a regular pizza. There is also a type of pizza with 48h fermented dough and a 360g dough ball. In the photo, there are two L-sized pizzas of the regular type. You must go there if you are in Cagliari! Even if you have no intolerances!
5
central area (a stone's throw from the city's nerve center) easy-going venue (don’t expect a flashy place that caters to customers, quite the opposite), no frills and all substance not the fastest service (on busier nights) dough is really good and typical of Man.gia, natural leavening and the true strong point of the venue! possibility to order many pizzas in size M (smaller than standard), L (normal pizza size) or XL (larger size) menu consists only of pizzas and desserts, with a great variety of beers! everything is strictly GLUTEN-FREE!!!! prices are in line with the rest of the restaurants highly recommended if you are in Cagliari! a must-try!!
5
Finally, a place to eat excellent gluten-free and lactose-free pizza and desserts, with fresh and good craft beer. The owner is kind and accommodating to our requests. Recommended.
5
delicious pizza, all gluten-free and lactose-free, artisanal products of excellent quality. highly recommended even for non-intolerant companions.
5
Everything is perfect! Freshly made focaccia is delicious.
5
Delicious pizzas and a variety of gluten-free beers both on tap and in bottles.
5
The best gluten-free pizza I've ever had. Great atmosphere. Impeccable quality/price ratio.
5
Giambattista is fantastic. He has created an exceptional gluten-free product, moreover in the Neapolitan style 🔝🔝 Light dough, top-quality toppings, easy-going atmosphere, sober but very professional. Not just pizza... Gluten-free beers and desserts. Thank you 🤩
5
the best pizza in Cagliari ever! Everything is 100% gluten-free and lactose-free
5
Spectacular gluten-free and lactose-free pizzas! Light, flavorful, and super loaded with toppings! The desserts are also impressive, always different and very tasty. Gluten-free craft beers available on tap, super friendly and always available staff. What can I say? Highly recommended to everyone, both celiacs and non-celiacs!
5
Best gluten free pizza i ever had! No wonder why it's pretty occupied, even after the top season. We also tried some cakes and I highly recommend the strawberry cheesecake ♡ Oh! And they have Bernard beer, which is the best gluten free beer from Czechia and who knows- maybe best in the whole world? 😁
5
Gluten-free pizza, good and with a wide selection. The desserts are also good. Friendly staff and a calm atmosphere.
5
Excellent pizza, exquisite and attentive staff; variety and taste even in the desserts. Quick service and serious adherence to COVID regulations. Completely 100% gluten-free 👍
5
Clean place and very kind staff. The gluten-free pizza is excellent; I've never tasted such a good pizza even in Milan. So many specialties and ingredients. Highly recommended!
3
Delicious thin pizza with a thick and soft crust like Neapolitan pizza. Light dough despite the various hearty toppings, with the option to choose Gourmet pizzas or longer ones beyond the classics. Various gluten-free beers available, including artisanal ones. The only downside is the somewhat high prices, and the venue does not do justice to the goodness of the pizza; it could use some work and a nice sign outside to make it more visible on a somewhat dark street.
5
Really delicious gluten-free pizza, soft and at first glance looks like a normal pizza (but also in taste!). The only downside is the slowness, but I don’t feel like giving fewer stars because it's justified by the fact that it’s one of the very few gluten-free places in Cagliari. The desserts are also fantastic, all gluten-free!
5
The best gluten-free pizza I have ever eaten. I recommend it. Open one in Piedmont too!!!!!
5
Pizzeria exclusively with Gluten Free products, but can be enjoyed by anyone. Friendly staff. Good prices and decent service.
5
Gluten-free and lactose-free pizza better than many regular ones.. Super delicious with a thick crust and good quality ingredients.
5
Small and charming place a stone's throw from Via Garibaldi. I had an exceptional gluten-free pizza. I highly recommend it to people with celiac disease and not only them.
4
Undoubtedly the best gluten-free pizzas in all of Cagliari, though they should improve the service.

I went there unaware that the pizzas were gluten-free. The place is nice but small, with the chairs and tables too close together. The texture of the dough, for someone like me who doesn't have a gluten intolerance, is somewhat less elastic compared to that of a regular pizza. However, the flavor is decent and the price is slightly above average. They don't have draft or craft beers. I had to settle for a 33cl Peroni, and even that had the label "gluten-free" on it.
