Really enjoyed my coeliac friendly afternoon tea. I was really surprised at the choice and great options . Very tasty, friendly staff. We had to sit in the middle of the room so lots of people walking past and couldn't move to the side as other tables were reserved. However lovely choice and tea for a coeliac this is a gem as it's hard to indulge. Really good price too, even for London.

Il tè pomeridiano da Browns è stato uno dei momenti salienti del nostro viaggio a Londra, inclusi per le mie ragazze di 17 e 21 anni. Dined here this evening. We thought we had booked, but it couldn't be found. That was no issue though, we were seated straight away. The food was quick to be served and tasted excellent. We had a gluten free member of the party and there was a seperate menu with great options. Our waitress Sneha was the stand out, she was incredible. Happily offered to move us when an extra person joined our party. She was helpful, bubbly, patient and honestly made the experience 10x better. Cannot rate her enough, will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Il servizio è stato impeccabile, Nikos, il nostro cameriere, amichevole, competente e molto disponibile. Mia sorella e mia nipote, in visita per il fine settimana, sono rimaste davvero e positivamente colpite. Dopo aver ordinato un pasto senza glutine, abbiamo anche avuto un cameriere dedicato per portarlo al nostro tavolo. Un'esperienza 100% indimenticabile! Il cibo era superlativo!

We recently visited when watching The Cursed Child, and picked this restaurant due to its gluten free friendly reputation. The service was really excellent and seating was spacious with a lovely interior. They had some great gluten free option for children, and my little one opted for the sea bass, which was cooked beautifully. Others had fish and chips which looked lovely but they said was lacking a little flavour and the chips were not triple cooked and crispy. I had the chicken and thyme roast dinner which I did send back as it was like warm, but was delicious once heated up. The brownie and trifle desserts were good. Overall it was a lovely meal, pricey but fresh food that tasted great. They do add a service charge, so be aware that you don’t get to choose your own tip amount. The service is very good and staff are very friendly.

Il cameriere era gentile. Abbiamo fatto l'High Tea. Le opzioni senza glutine erano abbondanti ma non necessariamente gustose. Ma odio il pane senza glutine. Pensavo potesse essere diverso questa volta. Non lo era; semplicemente non hanno creato uno decente, non è colpa di Browns. Il scone, la crema e la marmellata erano brillanti! L'aragosta e la lattuga erano gustose. La crema di limone o il budino erano divini. Il tè era abbondante e sapeva di grande.

Pranzo davvero delizioso durante la visita di Natale a Londra. Consiglierei, specialmente per il fantastico menù senza glutine. Decorato magnificamente per Natale, ottimo servizio e l'edificio e l'arredamento interni sono mozzafiato. Tornerò la prossima volta che sarò a Londra.

I had booked a table for 18 people at the Covent Garden restaurant to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. Our table was set up early and in an undisturbed area of the restaurant. Due to our party size, we had pre-ordered our food. Our waiter, Alessandro, worked tirelessly to ensure we had everything we needed & took great care to ensure any allergy or intolerance issues were also dealt with, along with the requirements of the vegetarian & vegan members of our party. His charming & helpful demeanor really helped make our experience extra special! All food courses arrived in a timely manner - no mean feat with a booking of our number, & was absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend this particular venue more highly to anyone and you may be fortunate enough to be served by Alessandro as well!
