OKE Zattere | Gluten-free in Venezia

Sestiere Dorsoduro, 1414, Venezia

OKE Zattere offers a picturesque location at sunset and a friendly staff. Although it has a not very wide gluten-free menu, the venue is careful about contamination, making it suitable for those with celiac disease. The prices, although high, reflect the tourist location of Venice.

Pizzeria already part of the AIC chain. We dined there for two evenings and tasted the excellent pizza. The gluten-free option is really good and delicate in flavor (it almost doesn’t taste gluten-free). Gluten-free fries are also available, really delicious and flavorful. The classic wheat pizzas are great in the dough (super light) and in the flavors and raw materials (the 'siciliana' is very good and light).

This came recommended again to us by MEA shop owner (you need to check his shop in Venice out). We had awesome service! I was able to eat my GF meal with my husband and son non GF meals and no issues. We had the Tonno salad and sardines for appetizers. Then I had the grilled branzino for my entree with delicious veggies. They served me TWO packs of GF crackers (wish I would have asked the brand, super yummy). Great experience for sure.

AIC certificate, but not all options are gluten-free. The only pasta format available was gnocchi; I didn't try the pizzas, but the special flavors were not available in gluten-free version. There is a surcharge for gluten-free dough, prices are not cheap, but it's located in a more upscale area of Venice.

Gluten free pizza prepared in a separate kitchen. It was delicious and so nice to feel safe eating it. Highly recommend.

I'm sorry, but gluten-free pizza does not meet expectations. A crust that is so low, anemic, and flavorless is unacceptable in 2026. Good job on the safety certification, good job on the separate kitchen. But even more so, pizza should be worthy of its name. I don't want to undermine anyone's efforts, but I've achieved better results making pizza at home. The dessert (cake) was truly forgettable. I'm sorry to be critical of those who clearly indicate dishes accessible to intolerant individuals and provide safety in preparation, but the food cannot be this disappointing.

Gluten-free pizza, pizza base, few places in Venice ensure a certain degree of safety. I am a trusted customer. The venue is nice and the staff is professional.

Venue with a view of the Giudecca Canal. Good gluten-free pizza, though not exceptional, with many dishes for celiacs. Average prices for Venice.

We went because it's gluten free. It was a great place to sit and people watch (or yacht watch...). Food was very good - we went 2 nights in a row, service was better on the 2nd night but unfortunately it was also extremely smoky from a group table nearby. We would go back for sure but ask to sit upwind to have the best experience.

Located on the shore in Venice. Friends of ours, local residents, suggested this place for a good pizza. But the menu has many other options, as for myself I prefer gluten free dishes. No disappointment. Great pizza. Great atmosphere, busy, buzzing! And we had gluten free pizza as well- yoohoo. An obvious gem, which on a hot summer night will be surely super busy. And cozy in winter. Would love to come back if in Venice again. A city worth all its hype and magic.

Gluten-free pizza is not bad. Prices in line with the location.

You could say that gluten-free options are not lacking... if you're visiting this beautiful city and don't know where to eat, especially for those who are celiac, make a note of this location. The pizza I had was good. Friendly and helpful staff.

SCAM ALERT! DO NOT GO IF YOU ARE GLUTEN FREE. Probably the worst pizza I've ever eaten. Frozen base, €12.50 for a margherita (called "Like in the Old Days" on the menu). Gluten-free surcharge €2.50, + €0.50 to have it cut into four. I asked for the receipt twice and they pretended not to hear. Unrisen dough, cracker-like, completely raw and sour added tomatoes. In short, a frozen pizza that costs two euros at the supermarket, just like the best tourist trap. I wish I had known before! I also saw the pasta dishes passing by and they looked overcooked and with added cooking cream. Place not recommended even to my worst enemy.

Decent gluten-free pizza, a bit pricey, a gluten-free and lactose-free Margherita costs 14 euros, I would justify the price only because we are in Venice. One downside: after eating the pizza, in less than 20 minutes, I felt unwell. I suspect contamination.

decent gluten-free pizza, super attentive to contamination and friendly people. The only downside is the prices, a gluten-free Margherita pizza costs €12.

Guys, don't go there! Two pizzas, a water, and a beer cost 40 euros. The pizzas have a pre-made base, at this point, I'll make it at home! They have 5 pizzas and no fried food, something I've never seen.

Beautiful location, convenient, wide choice of pizzas and desserts, but the taste definitely needs improvement. Staff is knowledgeable, but the pizza is not very good.

Suggestive location at sunset, friendly staff, choice of gluten-free menu products not very wide, a bit expensive but you have to consider that we are in Venice. The place is, in my opinion, touristy.

Good food, tables outside overlooking the seagulls' bathtub, and yet the cover charge is €3 outside. Pizza was overall good but the prices were outrageous as if it were gold pizza. A can of 33cl soda costs €3.50, seven thousand lire, for 33cl of soda. A Margherita and a gluten-free Coca Cola cost €19.50. But tell me, what prices!

I can't find the prices justifiable. I ordered 5 takeaway pizzas: 2 gluten-free margheritas at 12 euros, I mean 12 each. One marinara with two olives in total cost 11 euros... almost 60 euros for 5 very basic pizzas, and definitely not exceptional. For me, it was definitely the last time.

The view is panoramic, on the quay right in front of Giudecca. Unfortunately, the menu is less impressive. It's commendable that they offer gluten-free menus for celiacs, but disappointing that they use pre-cooked bases from Schar, imposing a surcharge of 2 euros. Even the fresh ingredients placed on the pizza can't save the overall experience.

Good local place with gluten-free products (since I am celiac). Perhaps, but the location (Venice) justifies the slightly higher prices compared to the standard... For two (2 pizzas, one of which is gluten-free with a surcharge of €2.50, a bottle of sparkling water, and a quarter of house white wine on tap...) it was €32.... €10 more than what we usually spend... Friendly staff and impeccable service... Very clean restrooms. Overall, a positive experience.
