If you are in Leipzig, this totally gluten-free and vegan bakery will be your daily stop for deliciousness from breakfast to snack time. I recommend the Leipziger Lerchen, the typical pastry made of shortcrust pastry filled with marzipan and jam; it’s not at all cloying and is very tasty even in its apple and chocolate variants. The streusel cakes in all their variations are also interesting, the chocolate and cherry one is good. Finally, you cannot miss trying the bread made from different doughs and various types of seeds. If you have specific requests, the very helpful staff will be happy to best answer your questions.

I ordered a gluten-free Christstollen from an online shop. It is way too sweet and still dry and crumbly. It hardly has any flavor other than sugar. It only tastes like sugar. For €25 including shipping, I find the quality of this small Stollen simply unacceptable. It's a shame, I know better qualities. I wouldn't buy this again. However, I must say that the seller was accommodating and we reached an agreement. Certainly, tastes vary and not everything pleases everyone. Still, I was able to rely on understanding and can only recommend the great service of the company. Thank you very much.

Hello everyone, After a long search, I finally discovered "Brotgefühle" (Bread Feelings) and I am absolutely thrilled! Those who are gluten intolerant often have to compromise on taste. But this is certainly not the case with Brotgefühle's bread mixes. I ordered Fräulein Alma and Hilde some time ago to try them out. The first attempt was fantastic! The simple and perfect instructions on the package were incredibly helpful, the stollen recipe was flawless, the aroma while baking is amazing, and most importantly, I have a wonderfully delicious loaf again!!! I also tested the taste the next day, on the second day, and after thawing: the result is always perfect! Yesterday I ordered all the other mixes and I can't wait for them to arrive so I can continue experimenting, undoubtedly enhancing my bread-making experience. Today I tried the cinnamon roll. Even though it is gluten-free and yeast-free, it was very soft and delicious. And not as sweet as traditional cinnamon rolls. I would gladly make it again!

Even though I ate a big cinnamon roll and a chocolate cake, I didn't have any stomach issues and they were both delicious. 🤩

After already cheering loudly for the cinnamon rolls outside, they were already preparing them for us in the shop, laughing. We also got a loaf (we had already tasted it: it was delicious and soft) and a slice of chocolate and cherry cake. After the first bite of the big, soft cinnamon roll, I was brought to tears of joy! We were welcomed with great warmth and given excellent advice, and we will definitely return.

I love the baked goods from Brotgefühle and regularly shop locally, choosing the entire range. What surprises me, however, is that despite the store opening at 10 in the morning on Sundays, bread and rolls aren't available until after 10:40 because they need to be baked first. We wanted to go out for breakfast, and I always buy fresh rolls from the supermarket. Now we had to postpone breakfast and wait more than 30 minutes for the rolls to be ready.

Really excellent bread, Leipzig larks, crumb cakes with poppy seeds, cinnamon rolls, and pizza focaccias. I've known the shop for a few years and have never been disappointed.

It is about ordering mixtures for baking bread. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service. I ordered the sample package along with the baking tray. The bread tray is terrible. I followed all the instructions and the bread did not come out of the mold. The end of the song was a broken bread. My daughter and I did not have dinner. Also, the breads are very small for the price. I wrote a complaint email with images and have not yet received any response a week later. I wrote a reminder email, but I received no response there either. THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I AM NOT SATISFIED!

Warning. Do not order here. I ordered and received a box with 5 bread mixes and a baking tray. The bags of the bread mix were open. I then sent it back and requested a refund. I received a new package with only 2 bread mixes. I complained about this because I did not order it, and 3 bread mixes were missing as a replacement for the first order. I also informed Brotfeelings via email. Everything was documented with pictures. Since then, I have not heard from them. You can't even call. So now I am stuck without a refund and with only 2 baking mixes and not even a baking tray. If the amount hadn't been too small for me to care, I would have sued them. This is clearly a fraud.

Update: One of our personal highlights in Leipzig! We've been back a few times and it's always great. I usually buy too much, because the bread is still much better than anything I can bake. Contrary to other bread it keeps fresh for days! Staff are always lovely and I can't wait to go back. The best breadrolls I've eaten in 21 years! I've went with my 7 and 10 year old (all coeliacs), and we all agreed it was the best bread/bread rolls ever. They taste like propper wholemeal bread, moist without being oily. We also had an ice cream IN A CONE!!! that also tasted homemade, and fantastic. ... Martina specialises on bread and bread rolls and a few sweet things. This focuss means her goods taste absolutely amazing. IMO it's easy to bake a glutenfree cake, but gf bread rolls are basically impossible. And most glutenfree bread dries out quickly and is not half as nice on the 2nd day. But Martina's was still super fresh and delightful on the next day. Only downside, it tastes so delicious, that like us, you'll might have finished it by day 3. I wish we would live close and could shop there regularly. Martina was super nice and helpful and you could see that she takes pride in her shop. An amazing gift for everyone who needs to eat glutenfree!

One of the best breads I’ve tried. I came to get some pastries, got 2 cinnamons and apple pie, all GF and tasted great, fresh and would love to get it again. I got a slice of some bread on a toothpick and after I understood how good it was, I decided to come back and buy :)

The best gluten-free cinnamon rolls! I had them when they were still warm out of the oven and they were the best I’ve ever had. I also enjoyed the marzipan and cherry tart. I travel a lot and appreciate people who provide gluten-free options. The people running this place are very nice! If you are celiac or gluten-free, go here!!

"Leipzig Lark" - what a shame, this interpretation of the small delicacy from Saxony is surprising, as the absence of gluten, eggs, and butter in this recipe makes it particularly easy to prepare. ✨Updated on 04/28/23 ..Leipzig Lark second attempt: We gladly accepted the offer and tried the 100 g piece again. With a creamy and juicy heart, covered by a biscuit-like shortcrust pastry and flavored with almonds and marzipan, it presents itself as a fine pastry. A successful interpretation! A bit too sweet for our tastes. The cinnamon bun made a special impression on us: fantastic! A juicy dough - fluffy with the texture of a good yeast dough, thank you very much!✨

A nice little shop with a friendly saleswoman who is happy to explain and willingly hands out samples of bread. The bread has a very pleasant taste and is easily digestible. Great for large families and regular purchases, although a bit too little or expensive. The ice cream scoop may seem expensive at first, but it also has a super delicious taste, is quite large, and pleasantly natural. The best ingredients, no additives, and the waffle is homemade and delicious. Strong natural vanilla aroma and the fruit ice cream is super fruity!
