Seafood restaurant attentive to gluten-free, equipped with both pasta and bread. We have eaten there often and I must say we have never had any problems. One evening we also asked for the fried food for celiacs and the owner went out of her way to prepare it. Very kind. We will definitely return.

I ate very well. Great hospitality and availability, excellent offer even without gluten (including desserts!!!). Top quality ingredients well processed and presented. Perfect and in a great location with a great view.

Negative experience... Little seriousness from the service staff and the chef. As soon as I sit down, I ask for the first courses "without" tomato due to an intolerance (without needing to justify myself to the waitress). She explains to me that all the first courses can be made without tomato. I order Risotto alla pescatora "without tomato"... they bring it to me, and while eating, I notice small pieces of tomato that the waitress wants to pass off as chili. The second course, seafood salad "without tomato," has obvious pieces of tomato; she takes the plate back and brings me octopus with potatoes... they decided I should eat that. I complain to the waitress, who claims I should have talked about my intolerances, then they would have given the proper attention. I will not go back to that place, but I advise you to bring along your intolerance report... otherwise, you won't be taken seriously. Maybe they are used to foreign tourists... but in Italian, what does "without tomato" mean to you...? PS... they barely apologized, and at one point, I was even verbally attacked because I should have said I was "allergic to tomatoes" then they would have given the proper attention (try explaining that I am not allergic but intolerant and that my dermatitis worsens to someone who doesn't even understand the Italian language). It's not enough to order a first course without tomato; they want to see a medical report 😂😂😂 and it’s also very expensive—one first course and a glass of wine 30.00 euros.

Seafood restaurant on the waterfront of Civitavecchia. We dined on the outdoor terrace. The staff is very kind, the owner made me feel comfortable about gluten-free options, even providing me with bread. The dishes are good, the presentation excellent. Prices are reasonable considering the dishes.
