The retro atmosphere takes me back to memories of my grandparents, of Sunday pastries, of parties. Here I feel at home; everything is expertly mixed and matched: plates, records, signs; the bathroom tiles, the counter, the magnificent chandelier, and the letters on the chalkboard. Lucia moves through this magical place with warmth and care, attentive to pampering customers and friends, both young and old. I'm not gluten intolerant, but I appreciate good food, sharing it, toasting, smiling, and crying with friends. I've been there for breakfast, a snack, and lunch. All I miss is aperitivo.
