At Centrale 38, I was able to eat a very good pizza, with a light and tasty dough that was nothing to envy compared to the regular dough. There is a variety of pizzas, with a good number being lactose-free. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices are fair, even for those who are celiac, unlike many other places that apply surcharges on every dish. The gluten-free and lactose-free desserts are also very good.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. Here I read 'certified venue', so I expected a more attentive establishment. At lunch, they don't serve pinse (the only item in the gluten-free section of the menu). So I asked what I could eat and they only gave me FOUR options: - Roasted squid - Seared tuna - Beef tagliata - Grilled octopus I expected at least a salad to be suggested to me. With a little more consideration, they could have also offered some first courses. What a shame!

For some years now, I have been vacationing in Sardinia, but I have never been able to enjoy a nice fried fish dish since I am celiac. Thanks to this place that offers both pizza and a gluten-free restaurant, I was able to satisfy this desire of mine. The fried fish was excellent, and the pizza, both gluten-free and regular, had a very good dough. Furthermore, there was a super gluten-free bread! Very nice and clean place. The girl was very kind and nice. I recommend it.

Centrale38 was a great discovery. The food is good and the staff is of rare courtesy. Especially one of the waitresses, who pays a lot of attention to all the customers, with a kindness that fills your heart. Moreover, at Centrale38 you can eat pizza, fried food, pasta, bread, and other gluten-free foods, which is a huge added value if there are people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance in your group! A beautiful 10 out of 10!

I came here to eat a gluten-free pizza, one of the few places in the area that offers them. The dough was not the best I've ever tasted, but the toppings were really delicious. The waitress was very kind and attentive, and the location is convenient, close to the main square.

The waitress is super kind and friendly. We have never felt so good in a place. The food is excellent, the pizzas have a light dough, and if you get the focaccia, it remains crunchy, really good. Besides the restaurant, they also run a bakery, specifically gluten-free bread that can be ordered in advance for takeout. The bathroom is very clean. The menu is very extensive and at lunch, you can take advantage of the business lunch.

Finally, I was able to eat gluten-free without any worries. I ordered a pinsa, fries, and wurstel, and it was exquisite! I brought some home because I couldn't finish it; the next day, when reheated, it still seemed freshly baked. I also had the chance to taste my first gluten-free civraxiu, freshly baked by Luca... Need I say that when I opened the package and smelled the bread I've loved since I was a child, I was moved? Honestly, I thought a gluten-free civraxiu couldn't be replicated, but thanks to the commitment and dedication of Luca Serra and his team, I was able to eat the bread that reminds me of home and tradition that I've missed terribly. It stayed soft and fragrant for days. The establishment prepares the dough for pinsas and bread without ready-made mixes but only with natural flours carefully chosen by Luca, without deglutinated wheat starch and added sugars. Everything is prepared in a separate environment, with equipment and tools used exclusively for gluten-free. They have various gluten-free options also for the restaurant, including fried calamari (made with chickpea flour), various main courses, and some desserts. The pinsas have lactose-free mozzarella. You realize how much they consider celiac disease and their excellent organization when you sit at the table, scan the menu with the QR code thinking that you'll still have to confirm with the staff what you can order, and instead find a satisfying category called gluten-free with a list of pinsas they make gluten-free. These things don't happen often! 😁 Luca was also very available and kind in clarifying any doubts or concerns I had. The place is very clean, and the staff is genuinely kind and courteous. Excellent service. I also went for lunch and had an excellent chicken tagliata and fries. This will be my reference point in Sulcis! 😁😍
