We went to il vicinale hoping for the breakfast from the other reviews. They do have gluten free and vegan cornetti on the menu. But unfortunately they are either vegan or gluten free. So not both at the same time. When we were there they only had a vegan one available. Maybe we were not so lucky, or it would be helpful to let them know in advance. Nevertheless they were very kind and precise in looking up all ingredients.

A small bar that knows how to amaze. They have various breakfast options such as stuffed croissants and bomboloni (also lactose-free). For lunch, they prepare gluten-free sandwiches with local products on request, they are not AIC certified but are very attentive and meticulous about contamination. Massimo and Veronica are truly delightful.

The only café I entered asking to have breakfast with something without milk and derivatives, and I was NOT met with the usual reply "we have nothing without milk." Instead, Massimo and Veronica thought of everyone! Gluten-free and lactose-free croissant with hazelnut cream was very good! Recommended!
