Il Castagneto offers a rich and varied menu with gluten-free options, including pizza cooked separately. The restaurant, with convenient internal parking and a charming garden, welcomes customers in a rustic yet elegant setting. Dishes like octopus and potatoes leave a good impression, while the mixed grill and desserts may disappoint.

Good food. The gluten-free pizza is cooked separately, but I'm not sure about the preparation of the other dishes.

I went for the first time to dinner at this restaurant that I often saw while driving by, and I finally tried it. The internal parking is very convenient, the garden is enchanting, and the interior is very beautiful, rustic, with a wooden ceiling and opening windows that show the garden with illuminated olive trees. The menu is very rich, with meat, fish, pasta, and pizza. A great thing is that it also has gluten-free options, which is top-notch. We ordered some appetizers, a few first courses, and mine (gnocchi with clams and asparagus) was a bit bland. The octopus and potatoes presented like a tartare were good, I must say. The pizza was good, baked in a wood-fired oven. The mixed grill was okay, but it seemed a bit sparse for one person; maybe it looks better when ordered for more people. The desserts didn't wow me. Nevertheless, I will return.
